Random Meteor Shards (not Quest Related)

around gelibord/dark forest area when i was going up the hill NE of gelibord and found the meteor in the water, as well as a bonemeal meteor shard. i also have a clay sprite meteor shard in my bank storage. they're both untradable items and idk what they're for or if they're just around the world. if so, how many are there, where are they, any information surrounding them or their lore.

If I'm not mistaken, these were a part of the old ??? quest. They currently have no purpose as far as I know, despite still being in the game.
