    Are connecting to VPN Networks allowed? I getting a VPN for protection when I download stuff from torrent sites. I got my 4th copyright strike from my ISP and don't want to risk getting arrested so I getting a VPN and setting it up on my router

    First and foremost, stop torrenting. Stop whatever you're doing, which is illegal. Drop it. Halt. Cease. Do not continue.

    On the topic of VPNs, it should be okay to use VPNs, as nothing in rules suggest that you'll get in trouble for using them. However, it is better to wait for a Moderator to reply for this, to absolutely confirm that VPNs are usable or otherwise.

    I know a Game Community that does not allow VPNs so I wanted to ask before I do

    VPNs have been mentioned as a solution to proxy issues, so I'd assume they're fine.

    I cannot tell you that, I don't think the staff of Wynncraft would like it if I do. But I can say this, this Coronavirus in US is killing the eco. Took 2 months to get a 512GB SD Card that is $90. I get a SSI Check which my mom uses a huge chunk of, last month she took all of it to where only $10 was left in the bank. So I have no way to use the torrents. I don't want to go into politics but in US, there are riots happening which is locking the cities down and officers killed by black people. My mom said there is a race war, I was speechless

    Torrenting is a process that allows people to share files. Think of it as downloading a file in parts that come from many other people.
    Due to how decentralized it is, it's often used for illegal activity. But torrenting as an action isn't illegal.

    Well, I asked if VPNs are legal on here and said why I going to use it so no one does not think I breaking the server rules

    They're probably fine, but if you get banned stop playing, since vpns can bypass certain bans, including ip-bans. As long as you aren't using it for illegal (you might be breaking that actually, if you are getting copyright strikes) or a ban evasion, there's nothing really on the rules that are against it.

    Well, the copyright strikes is the main reason I getting a VPN. To hide my IP address from torrent sites. But why is this server involved because I don't see anything in the server rules talking about VPNs if its allowed or not. I like how this server is programmed. I learning how to programming server plugins myself but I cannot adv the server even if I had one as its against the rules of WynnCraft
