This is from my view point and I'm still learning to do builds myself but from my perspective, I wouldn't turn Monster into a spell spam build as it is meant to be based around main attack damage and life steal. As it is right now, you could use more raw spell damage as you only are gaining some from Sizzling Shawl and the rest is percent based spell damage and that percentage is mostly taken out from Resurgence. Best thing for a life steal wand that's going spell based would be to emphasize on mana steal a bit more but to also have some mana regen off to the side. Honestly, I might not use Resurgence just because of the huge loss in spell damage percent. I could see what I come up with but it might be better or worse IDK.

 

Monster is not really a melee wand.
Its more like a spellsteal wand that is meant to be used with Hephaestus-Forged Sabatons or something.
Still monster is used spellspam most of the time.

 

Yeah, probably, like Collapse in a way. It might be possible to use Stardew instead but I'm having difficulty fitting it in.
