Will There Ever Be Netherite Tier Armor?

Just as title says. Just a weird question but I don't think this will happen as Wynncraft is based on earlier versions of Minecraft but this is still a fun thought.

 

Maybe in the far future when the server updates to 1.16, which will be very far in the future (if it ever happens)

What I really wonder is why people always ask this question when the answer is obvious and it's already been asked countless times.

 

Lol, probably will be a while. Yeah, the answer is most likely going to be that it's never coming unless Mojang suddenly starts to care about the problems 500+ people multiplayer servers have. Yeah, just looked up "Netherite Armor" on the Forums and found about 6 other posts from the time netherite was announced so I guess this post is just to get more perspectives on it if it were to come.

 

I assume they'd call it Dernic armor instead of Netherite if they were to add it

 

If they figured out how to send 1.16 packets on a 1.8 server, then they could make netherite appear to 1.16 clients.

I'd say that the ornate shadow <noun> "set" is the first dernic (netherite) gear we get.

I guess you can change specific armor pieces to have a netherite texture with a custom resourcepack, but for new items don't expect any

 

yea they might add new armor that just is textured like netherrite but isn't actually netherrite

 

well the main problem is that microsoft decided to mess with server and game mechanics, making the jump from 1.12.2 to 1.16.2 require more than a little bit of changed code for things to work smoothly.
iirc it was a bit of a clusterfuck with how game mechanics worked before and after they changed stuff
