Recording Software For Eo/li Runs

    Hey, I play Wynncraft on a mac and I want to record some of my LI and EO runs. What (free) software would be good for recording that? I tried recording my screen, but that didn't record any sound. Also, anyone know any good (free) video editing software?

    For QuickTime Player the only option I can find is a "screen recording" option, which doesn't record in-game sounds, like noteblock music. (Which I assume many people want to hear when watching a wynncraft video)

    I use DaVinci Resolve, which is free (some features are locked behind a paywall, but you're not going to use those). Might be difficult to run though.

    OBS is probably your best bet, you can also have it record in multiple formats, so it won’t matter which editor you use.

    QuickTime + Soundflower is the cheapest but arguably the most hacky one. Sure, it does allow screen recording with sound, but you need to hop through a few minor hoops to get it to work. However, it works as advertised, even though it means you won't be able to hear any sounds yourself while recording (unless you get out of your way to create composite audio input/output devices).

    OBS is quite simple, look at a single tutorial for MC and you should get it

    OBS is the best, but if you sometimes want a more cinematic recording, I'd recommend ReplayMod.
