    Preface

    The purpose of these events is to see how much stress Wynncraft can handle, and provide feedback about existing content being done with more players than intended. As Wynnraiders, we solemnly swear not to:
    • Deliberately crash servers
    • Perform malicious bombings (i.e. using a party bomb near a very large group of players)
    • Break Wynncraft
    That said, we are not guaranteed to not crash a server, and the end goal is to give feedback on how stuff can be handled with large groups so in the future raid content can be created with these in mind. The goal is, I repeat, not deliberately crashing servers with these raids.

    We're not planning on hosting large raids to EO any time soon due to how hard it crashed the servers, so instead I'm taking suggestions to share with the rest of Wynnraiders to see what should we do as a 50 player team.

    I'll then be using those suggestions to *maybe* create a new event - probably during winter break or a similiar gap because SCHOOL.

    SUGGESTION RULES
    1. It doesn't have to be a raid, but they're welcome as well. Raids are organized runs to a dungeon (or a boss) as a large party.
    2. It cannot be Eldritch Outlook. I think we crashed a total of 3 servers, not including the servers we broke with party/disguise bombs doing those, so that's out of the question until Salted implements "parties larger than 10 get instakilled" gimmick to EO.
    3. It has to be thought with the participation of 50 players in mind.
    4. It has to have less impact on server load than a 25-30 player Glow Bulb Cave party.

    That said, Wynncraft doesn't have a lot of endgame content, so we need to create some of our own by organizing these raids and stress testing Wynncraft (sorry, Salted!) - that way, we can provide feedback about how and in which direction should Wynncraft be improved when it comes to organized large events. This is important, since we all know a Gavel rework is on its way, and Orphion could very well turn out to be a formidable raid boss.

    As for the reason why a 50 player EO run is not happening any time soon, we all know that Wynncraft is notorious for bizarre, game janking BS that we all know and love:

    he ded, like, a couple hundred times

    If you have suggestions as to what we can do as 50 players, suggest away!

    UPDATE: I'll be hosting a 40+ player relay race between 4 teams - more players the merrier, but HAS to be a multiple of 4 so we can get an even race! It will span all 3 provinces and info about it can be found here.

    Though, frankly I would stop.
    You've crashed servers too many times as it is. I can only imagine how annoying it is for Salted. I couldn't tell you what the side effects of all of this is, but I'm assuming they simply aren't good for the servers.

    Also I'm guessing fast travel is obviously ruled out so no Ragni-Detlas tunnel cheesing.
    Level 100, but all gear is Normal. Probably?

    So uh, can I have your mythics before you get banned for this?

    You might wanna try just having 50 people in one place. In my experience that'll be enough to have some performance issues. Maybe do a race or something that doesn't use spells, particle effects, teleport action or anything else that'll brick the server faster than a iOS update on a last gen phone.
