Stuck In The Hunger Of Gerts Part 2

i'm at the part where i need to talk the the captured gert but he only says "Human! Come close, gert hunger! Gert eat human!" and nothing else hes supposed to say a bunch of other stuff then update my quest book, changing servers and dying and retrying doesn't work either, i don't know what i'm doing wrong i have the gert mask on.

 

There's an awkward trigger point right by the door where you go into the room with the Gert. Going back to this door and walking around a bit should trigger the quest book to update and update the Gert's dialogue. Even though you did die and retry, there is still a chance you accidentally passed over this trigger point.
