My Magical Return

So this probably doesn't matter to most people here, but it was kind of a big thing for me (and it's minecraft\wynncraft related) so I wanted so share it here: I got my old ign back!!!! Any of you who've seen me around on the forums know me as MusicalCroissant, which is my forums name and, up until today, my actual minecraft name. Here's why this actually matters so much to me:

Spoiler: the grand tangent

In 2017, I made some friends who played minecraft. They were irl friends, and we were in middle school together at the time. We bonded over this game, and played together almost every day after school, on servers like hypixel, mineplex, vanillaverse, smaller vanilla servers, and of course, wynncraft. So after a while, we all decided to match our usernames to be cool and quirky and recognizable. One of the guys' ign was, and still is, MagicalBagels. So we all decided to name ourselves something similar: 'Magical', followed by some sort of carbohydrate. The others were MagicalBiscuits and MagicalDoughnut, and I was MagicalCroissant. And life was great! Played all the time, and Bagels was actually the one to introduce me to wynncraft, although at the time, all we did was kill zombies outside of ragni for like 15 levels lmao. But then, the good times stopped almost 2 years later. Bagels moved across the country and into a vastly different timezone. Biscuits moved schools. Doughnut became one of the 'cool kids'. We tried to keep playing, but now that we were older, and in different situations, it wasn't so easy. We all moved on from the game, and from our friendship.
Fast forwards to last year. My younger brother had gotten really into wynncraft, and I wanted to get back into it too. But it had been so long since I used my old minecraft account that I couldn't remember the password to it or the old email linked to it. I tried to reset the account so many times, but the security questions stumped me. How was I supposed to remember what my favorite movie was like 4 years ago?! So I gave up a little too easily and just made a new minecraft account, under the name MusicalCroissant. Started playing wynncraft again, and so much about the server had changed in a good way (corkus, professions, SE, new quests, ect). Even back in the day I had only made it to around level 40, so there was even more for me to experience. Even though everything was great again, something was still missing: the old username. So last month, I tried even harder to find and get into the old email to reset the security questions and get the account back. Not so I could use it, but so I could get the username onto my newer account as to not lose all the progress on my archer (so so many hours of profession grinding would be wasted). And I finally cracked it.

The old account is now my alt, and today, about an hour and a half ago, I officially got the name and returned to wynn as my old self. As MagicalCroissant once again.
It's really nice to recover the username, it has tons of sentimental value and is truly iconic. Thanks for coming to my rant lol.

(said everyone's igns because they literally haven't played in years so I don't think they mind)


Still couldn't get the username back on the forums tho :( oh well
