Possibility Of Technoblade Doing A Video On Wynncraft

Technoblade is one of the more popular minecraft youtubers at this time and I can sense that a video/series on this server is imminent. If you didn't know, Techno played Wynncraft around the same time he started his youtube channel. His most recent visit was for his second most popular video ''the hypixel skyblock experience'' in which he says:
''So basically you spawn on your own island, you cut down your tree, you bridge over to the other island and then you log into Wynncraft''
With that quote is about a second of him in Detlas, at level 82. To this day he is still level 82.
He recently mentioned it again, in a now unlisted livestream.

He says this at around 12:20:
''I went to college, and sometimes I played skyblock and Wynncraft''
This was in reference to him having not done PVP in a while. The question is, what DID he do in Wynncraft? If you look at his profile, you will see that he has leveled up fishing and mining in order to level up...
..jeweling.. of all things..
His latest completed quest is Flight in Distress meaning that, in theory, he grinded from level 75 to level 82. I assume that since he played frequently AND had media rank some other players helped him grind.
It has been about a year since he last played.

However, things could change. Recently, as I'm sure you're aware, Techno has been part of a large Minecraft tournament known as MCC (Or minecraft championships). Who else is in that tournament? None other than Wynncraft co-owner, Grian. Grian was co owner before he even started youtube and his first ever video is a tutorial on how he made the spikes in the roots of corruption. In MCC, the teams change around each time. If Techno ends up on the same team as Grian, chances are he may talk to Grian about Wynncraft. While this may just be another predictable mention of the server, there's still some more evidence that shows a video may be on its way.

Recently, @Salted tweeted an image of a Colossal rat pet. In the replies, you can find this.

Salted responded to the tweet by pretty much redirecting it to Techno. Technoblade has yet to make any response (and I'm not sure if he has even noticed it yet or cares about it).
This clearly shows that Salted wants techno to create a video on the server.

What would happen is Techno DID make a video about it though?
While I can't guarantee that there would be a lot more toxicity in the community, I can guarantee that there will likely be a player overflow and a lot of new members to the server. If the video gets popular enough, other youtubers may attempt to mimic the success or even play the server because they find it interesting. Youtubers like Olinus, YY and Shots would probably experience notable growth.
One thing's for certain though. If the server gets popular again from this, Dream playing the server would be debatable. The player overflow would be immense.

I believe the one thing keeping Techno from uploading a video on Wynncraft is his upload style. Sure, the potato war is over now. His upload schedule is destined to improve. However, his uploads were once him talking about his life or just Hypixel in general while playing skywars, while his newer videos cover topics that bring him success and enjoyment. He joined back when 1.18 came out because it added a huge new feature in the form of crafting. He didn't return for 1.19 probably because it was mostly for endgame players, even though he is a midgame player. It didn't add much new for him to do. Now, 1.20 is on the horizon. 1.20 will add midgame AND endgame content, which, if my theory is correct, could cause Technoblade to return once more.

If you're worried about this happening, don't worry. Salted knows what's best for his server and if he wants it to happen then it's probably going to be fine.

Why everybody thinks that new players will significantly increase toxicity??
Yes, with many new players there will be some toxicity. But for few players we should not prevent newbies from coming, playing and joining our community. And even if there will be some toxicity, make leave those who are responsible.

Have some faith in them.

 

i doubt he'll do a video on wynn, it would probably just be a stream like his bannerlord playthroughs.

 

It's debatable whether or not a majority of techno's audience would even enjoy Wynncraft. Even if he did do a video on it, there would be a slight flow of players and then a majority of them would eventually quit, leaving the people who enjoyed it to stay. Afterall, currently wynn is not casual friendly.

 

Dunno what to say about that honestly, in the past 4 months since the Silent Expanse update came out I've almost completed 3 new classes
And I was one of those guys who would drop the game by mid-game just because of how terrible the grind would get
I think current Wynn can catch players just with the journey alone

 

I think it’s because of PvP, Guilds, and other multiplayer features are quite lacking. And what draws in the most players to stay are these multiplayer elements based off that the most popular servers are PvP or mini game servers.

The meat and potatoes of Wynncraft is more of a single-player game than a multiplayer game outside of a few token instances.

 

i mean with him having played til level 80 im sure hes considered making content of wynn already. i'd guess the reason he hasnt is the longevity of wynn, which wouldnt suit his current viewer base, who are used to fast-paced, high-action stuff (the championships and pvp in general)

Rn a lot of threads on main page were made by sb players, a lot of them started playing Wynn recently, and I dont see anyone toxic
It’s hard to be toxic in Wynncraft unless you spend irl money on shouts
But they will soon get bored and will leave
Only loud minority is toxic in hsb

 

Tbf techno’s fanbase is mostly chill, I wouldn’t mind at all if he came to record in Wynncraft.

 

Unless there's a secret army of techno stans that I'ven't heard about, the only people Techno's fanbase make fun of is Techno himself.

 

I find the reason many people think massive influxes of people joining the server brings toxicity is because many of these new players unfortunately do not respect the server outside of that youtuber. They see Wynncraft on Technoblades channel, for example, and immediately have the mindset of "Technoblade made this server popular" which rightfully pisses off a lot of older players. This also ties in with what these spikes usually are: spikes. A youtuber makes a video on Wynncraft, many new players join, the youtuber does not make another video or stops their series, and all those players leave to go to the next server, or just quickly lose interest. This results in a sour taste in the mouth of long time players who watch all these newbies join with a disrespectful attitude, and then leave when Wynncraft "isn't in" anymore. This isn't true with all new players from these kinds of influxes, obviously, but it's a trend I think has repeated enough times for it to be expected.

 

100% agree. Honestly, I've found myself dissatisfied with the lack of good YouTube content coming from the Wynncraft community, cause it seems like half of it is inside jokes, memes, shitposts, or EO runs. Ofc there's some awesome Wynntubers, but I'd love to see more up and coming creators who want to make quality content.
I'm not trying to be hyper-critical or like I'm coming down on the Wynntubers who are trying really hard to make good content, but I think that this kind of stuff makes a big impact on a new player.
Also, I know it's a big commitment to make good YouTube content, and I have been encouraged to put my own content out there (which I hope to be doing soon!)
