Can Someone Explain How Guild Warring Is Fun?

Do you do tons of guild wars? Why?
Do you know somebody that does(and are they still sane?)
Do you think guild wars should be changed or stay the same?

Why is guild warring so fun/boring to you?

 

I took a break from warring in general but the thing that got me to do 1k~ wars was just talking with my friends in vc but I rather do other things so I kind of stopped
The people that war all the time do it to pass other people in war count and to help their guild grow
Ofc guild wars should be changed but tbh I don't really know how

It was fun at the time it was released, doing this content in 2015 when there were year long droughts in updates. But that fun is long gone.

 

I just never really got into guilds because warring was pretty much just a stale version of PvE. And it was worse in the sense that it offered no gameplay advantages outside of it, like emeralds, combat xp, or loot.

To this day I still don’t know how people in guilds managed to stick together after years of neglect, especially when they were barely functional until jpresent showed up. Then again, I’m still kicking around :-/

 

Our guild once controlled the Almuj and Mesa region, but decided to quit guild wars about a year ago


Now we do solo guild wars every now and then to test builds, and also to annoy other guilds by demolishing their territory. Then we put down a single zombie as defense :)

 

Oh my god wars are so indescribably boring it melts my brain
somehow more boring than just grinding mobs for ingredients/mythics, probably because in wars you have massive bright blue walls and projectiles flying everywhere and i just hate it.

This is why im never gonna succeed in a guild, i just want a casual group of friends to do things with. Not doing wars or reclaiming or anything helpful.
