I Want Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard

I dont know when Galleon's Graveyard was made, was it before or after the forgery was added? And was the forgery added in the same update that Gavel was? That doesnt really matter, but what does matter is that there has been a non-functioning CGG portal in the forgery for years and years. Even back when CSST was a thing, i wanted CGG.

And the worst thing is, it feels like everybody has forgotten about this. I dont ever hear about anyone wanting CGG, its apparently just me. Same with the devs, i havent heard anything about CGG or about any corrupted dungeons in any news threads. I would be happy if they just said "Hey we know that we should make CGG but we're busy with other things so we cant", i would be completely fine with no CGG then.

Also, i just like pirates. I would like if any pirate-themed items were endgame-viable, i mean... If you consider Pirate's Luck for lootrunning to count as "endgame-viable" but even then, loot bonus has been completely destroyed by loot quality. I love how they added pirate-themed skins, that's super cool! (but i wish the hook was a bit more extravagant, its kinda plain.) But there still isnt any good pirate items.

Also are we ever going to get Corrupted Fallen Factory, or Corrupted Eldritch Outlook? It might sound like a stupid idea to make these very difficult dungeons even more difficult, but i think it would be fun.

So yeah, do you guys want a Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard?

 

Don't they just like slowly add all possible corrupted dungeons to the game...? And isn't GG next?

Well, Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard is a little awkward when it comes to remaking it.

- The first room is (in my opinion) one of the best token collecting rooms in the game- if you take it slowly, there should have been just enough mobs by the time you reach the door. A corrupted version would likely really just be the same thing- except maybe with the main water stream being lava, I suppose. Not really any change needed.
- The second room is horrid and would 100% have to be reworked when going for a corrupted version. It doesn't even work when playing it with one person, and then imagine doing it with an entire party of like 30 people.. You'd need to make like, jump pads, or classic water parkour, or some other kind of way to get up, one that isn't as awful as it currently is.
- The third room is fine in the original- but this is where the main gimmick of the dungeon is introduced, a near unkillable mob that required another mob to be killed. Currently these are attack and killable, which would obviously have to be fixed, but also the pressure plates could cause some serious issues if too many people are in the same room.
- The fourth room is incredibly fun but probably near impossible to do for the more party-focused design on corrupted dungeons. This room alone is either going to be completely reworked, or in need of an absolutely ton of testing.
- Room five and six are fine, just would probably need a little bit of updating to accommodate for actually more than one player playing it.
And then the boss.. probably is going to get a special gimmick as well, otherwise it'd really be way too similar to CUC's boss.

So yeah, CGG is most likely happening, but I can imagine it takes too much time to actually finish it within the next update and would be part of a major patch.
As for the items- absolutely no need to be worried about good pirate-themed ones! We have amazing items such as

I'm actually really excited for CGG, GG is one of my favorite dungeons and a corrupted version will most likely improve on the bad sides it has.

 

It was shown in the Corkus reveal livestream back in October 2016, but has never been released...

In the August 2020 CT news thread, the screenshot of the Forgery Chest says, “0/7 dungeons completed”, and there are currently 7 corrupted dungeons in the game right now. This could mean that CGG’s not coming in the next update...But the thread also said that the Forgery Chest might come out in a patch instead of 1.20, so hope’s not completely lost.

Also, I found it super weird that CGG was shown in Grian’s Corkus livestream almost 4 years ago, and it’s still not in the game. Are corrupted dungeons worked on out of order? That doesn’t make sense considering how they’re always released in order.

I'm looking forward to its reward. Since it's a water themed dungeon, we'll get new water items. And maybe some loot bonus items too.

Also if the boss gameplay doesn't change, time to change to assassin and abuse the shit out of it.

Also imagine chilling in the sky islands then suddenly get pulled into void by GG key guardian
