Day 2: Powering Up

New day, more levels to gain. After leaving the desert area, I quickly looked for new areas to level up at. I forgot that the spider nest near Llevigar was a thing. I headed over to that area and managed to find a few fellow assassins that were also grinding. I partied them and leveled up to 33, this is when a level 105 and his friend came over with Mob Totems. Lemme tell you, mob totems are the best. They help with leveling so much. And as a cherry on top, there was a 2x exp bomb running. I managed to level up from level 33 to level 44 in the span of an hour (which is pretty good if you ask me).

Unfortunately they ran out of Mob Totems, I thanked them and grinded the spiders plain. I leveled up to level 45 and headed over to Nesaak, where the next spot was. Ice Golems, a starred mob that isnt hard to kill and easy to avoid, basically free exp and potions. To my luck again someone dropped a exp bomb, which made grinding way faster. I leveled up from level 45 to 50 in around 60 minutes. Mind you I hadn't expected to get past level 40 today, so getting to level 50 was amazing.

I then managed my way over to Troms, where the Ember Cave lies. Embers are sort of hard for me, its a tad bit annoying that they go in a straight line instead of following you. But at this point it was getting pretty late for me. So I headed off. Short and sweet, straight to the point. I'll probably do more quests tomorrow since I don't like the Ember Cave, and I need new armor, so that'll help alot with the money problem (I only have around 7 EB).

Time Spent: 10 am - 10 pm, with around 9 hours of break, so 3h spent ingame.
Total Level: 50

I plan to hopefully get past level 55 tomorrow.

 

If you are trying to level up, it would be a lot faster if you just went with dungeons.
With the dxp bombs dungeons reward a lot of xp in a rather short amount of time.

as said above, you would probably level faster via dungeons, and in my opinion doing them is more fun than slapping some mobs for an hour straight

Look. I'm not going to say you should be doing quests (you should), but I will say watching a guide on how to play the game, and following it pretty rigidly, might completely ruin the game for you. Unless you're into that kinda stuff (weird). I know it would ruin it for me.

 

Wynncraft has so much more than just mob grinding.
Professions, crafting, dungeons, quests, boss altars, discoveries, and more (tons more at endgame like builds, EO, LI, trade market, etc.)
I kind of disagree with what most people have said, which is to do all the quests on your first play through. While I do think that the quests are great for fast travel, rewards, XP, emeralds and lore, you don’t have to do all of them, but you should at least try a little bit of everything - otherwise, you are missing out on most of what wynncraft has to offer.

While I appreciate everyone is saying and mostly agree, I do enjoy wynncraft much more than just mob grinding. I like to put in shaders and look at the mountains at 40+ chunks while my computer is hissing like a cat. I like to read lore either on the forums or watch youtube videos about it.

Also the problem I find with dungeons is that there's almost no one to help with them, atleast from what I've found. If anyone could invite me to a guild or something that would help me with this then I'd like that.

Yeah, I like this thread too, it’s interesting getting all these varied opinions

I mean all it really boils down to is have fun with the game

 

these threads are nice because they are from people who still can find fun in the game

Keep up the good work, leveling 50ish level for a new player in two days are pretty awesome by itself consider no exp gear, money from other class to supply leveling imo

I'd like to but stuff keeps getting in the way, like today. I'll probably do some more work tonight but yeah level 50 - 60 is pretty stale, even with quests. I'll power through tho.
