Assassin Armour, Weapon, And Skill Points?

I've started a new game as an assassin. I don't really have any idea which skill points I should invest in. Also are there certain sets of armour and weapons which would be good for every few levels (i.e level 0-20, 20-40, 40-60, etc.)

When I search up good assassin builds, I only find stuff for the endgame. But I would like some good armour and weapons to use as I level up.

 

Lvl 1-30 I just use random gear I pick up along the way as there aren’t any hard fights. At lvl 30 I use adventurer armour, at lvl 55-70 I use xp gear (Can be expensive but includes items such as bad wolf and greaves of honour). At lvl 70 I use champion armour (not really that necessary). I then go on to use cosmic armour until lvl 100 when I make a proper build.

For skill points, it depends on which weapon you use. I normally find myself using a thunder weapon for a lot of the game and focusing a lot on dexterity.

And also what skill points do you invest in? Right now I'm increasing agility and dexterity equally.

 

Yeah, as there aren't any hard fights I also don't focus on any specific gear. Just whatever I get along the way.

 

The reason you only find good assassin builds for endgame is cuz at low levels you usually outgrow your build quickly, so it’s not too useful to make one (usually).

As for gear sets, I highly suggest morph
You can use it as you level (you only need to wear what your level is capable of wearing, you don’t need to wear the full set for the benefits), I use it till level 90+
Other xp armor I use in conjunction: Venison, Speaker, Papyrus (and millennium, until I can use Papyrus or morph-steel)
(A full morph set will run you about 2LE or less if you are conservative with your cash)

Alternative XP Armors:
2 rarities, greaves of honor, bad wolf, knucklebones, the oblivious, cosmic set, vanguard, and many more, but those are some popular ones. (Go to Wynndata and set xp bonus as a tag and you’ll be able to find more xp armors)

As for skill points, put in skill points that allow you to use armor, and the rest is honestly prolly best used dumped into intelligence, though honestly it’s up to your preference, there is no “correct” way to use skill points until endgame builds. (But you should really be aware of mana tables, as certain thresholds of intelligence will greatly benefit you)

But, you should be fine with stuff you collect on the way, this is just the stuff I use.
