Just A Reminder About This...

I'm sure a lot of people in the community already knew this, but it's pretty important information for lore and stuff.

Back when Gavel was on the verge of releasing, we were given a trailer for the update. In that trailer, it teases the cinematic cutscenes that we now have for secret discoveries. This one seems to have been scrapped or merely a demo, but it shows Ragnar fighting Bak'al. Keep in mind that Ragnar has yet to make an actual appearance in game and Bak'al wasn't introduced until 1.17, 3 updates later. The video shows that Ragnar has fought Bak'al before, and that he is leading a horde of mobs into Detlas. Here is the video:



Was this an early demo for secret discoveries? A scarpped quest? Maybe even just a beta test for the cinematics?

And is this really how ragnar looks, or was that just a placeholder?

It also shows that Bak'al has been in the works for a long time and i am certain he is vital to the lore in some way.

 

I think it was said to have something to do with the main questline, but don't quote me on that.

 

It was for the main storyline. We don’t know what happened to it; they just never got around to it like Gavel dungeons

 

I really hope 1.21 works on that then because a main storyline is something we need (It's very minimal right now, I would say it's just: A king's recruit, All dungeon quests, Wynnex questline, The envoy I and II, AJB and AJF, AHC.)

 

Again, I think it was said that Fruma would be released before the main questline. And again, don't quote me on that.
