Hi, you might be wondering what this is, this is just me documenting my adventure on Wynncraft. This is just so I can better my writing and such.

    Day 1: Humble Beginnings

New character, new adventure. I had recently deleted my 2 slots since I had no clue how to play the game anymore since it had been a few months since I last played. I started off by skipping the tutorial since I knew that much, and started off early. Right as soon as I started, I went to the Nilva Tower to kill some starred zombies. Quickly I reached level 10 and went bought some armor from the vendor in Ragni.

After gearing up a little more, I headed down to the Nilva Plains, where even more starred mobs spawned. Even though I had over 100 health, it was still pretty difficult due to the Archer that spawns. The bomb attack killed me more than I'd like to admit, but nothing was lost. Eventually I reached level 15, a decent number for a solo run with 30 minutes in. After I reached level 15 I stumbled across a accessory shop, I had 0 clue that it was there, but thankfully it was there.

I bought 2 rings, a bracelet and the necklace and headed off again. My tutorial had told me to go off to the Time Valley Ruin, where undead starred zombies spawned. This quickly leveled me up to level 20, which meant I could get better armor in Detlas, which I did. With 300 health to my name, I was feeling pretty confident. I went to the next spot which was the Saint Row's Graveyard, but I was stopped due to me not completing the quest. Lemme tell you, this quest took AGES, the zombies on the outside wouldn't drop any flesh for about 5 - 6 zombies, mind you I had to get 12 of these.

After about 30 minutes of killing zombies I finally had enough rotten flesh to go underground and defeat Saleros Brother, and retrieve the dusty will to him, which I did. I used a scroll to quickly get back to Detlas, which granted me level 21 and 1 block of emeralds. With this, and some extra cash that I had, I went back to Nemract and bought more new armor. Now my health was above 400, I then went over to the graveyard. I died a couple of times, but nothing really set me back too far. I reached level 25 in no time and went off to the next spot.

The next spot was called Almuj Spikes (some pretty crazy names huh), where I met 2 adventurers like me. They both were grinding here as well, I joined their party and played with them. They were full leather armor and some low level weapons. I helped them out, since I was 2 shotting them because of one of them being a shaman, it was pretty easy. I quickly leveled up to 30 and headed to the next spot, the Desert Corner. This place is not forgiving, I tried grinding there but I was killed multiple times, which caused me to lose some of my stuff. I decided this isnt the greatest spot for an Assassin, but at this point it was around 12 am for me, so I packed my bags and went to bed.

Time Spent: 6:30 to around 12 am, (took a break for 3 hours), 2h 30m spent ingame.
    Level: 30

To anyone wondering I used the guide from Olinus10. Please tell me if there's a better one. Also I'd like to know what armor / weapons I should get at this level since I'm not doing a ton of damage (using Charons Left Arm and Bulldozer).

    Thanks for reading!

So you're just focused on leveling up instead of doing quests?

Basically yeah, I'll do quests later but they're not as important to me.

I tried doing a quest only playthrough, but found it boring since I had to find the quest on youtube and just follow that.

You shouldn't have to look up video guides to complete low leveled quests.

It was the quest where you had to get meat and milk for a fisherman for a underwater helmet. I dont remember the name sadly.

The thing is, I find grinding more fun than doing quests, it might be weird for you guys but that's how it is. I'll do a few quests since the desert is a pain but other than that, I like to just kill mobs while listening to music.

Fair enough, even though I don't share the same opinion.
Although, you might be a bit over leveled if you decide to go back and complete the quests you skipped.
Yeah, I agree. Wynncraft's music is pretty good.

You should seriously consider doing quests. Aside from the fact that they're a good source of XP and money which you are going to need down the line, quests also unlock stuff like certain items, areas, and fast travels which will save you a lot of time.
Plus, past level 50 ish, grinding will start to be quite a bit longer especially without XP bonuses or DXP bombs.
If you're stuck on a quest, you can just look it up on the wiki or ask around on the forums or ingame for help. The wiki especially will be a lot faster in comparison to watching a video.

Just going to tell you, you will regret not doing quests in the future, for a few reasons:

Early game quests teach you about various game mechanics (although thats easy enough to learn later).
They have very important pieces of lore explained.
They are a really easy way to get money (total of 52LE or so), and in the late game you will struggle, or be bored to death running corrupted dungeons (actually, dungeons require a quest to be done in the first place, although this doesn't apply to corrupt ones).
Certain quests also give some nice gear.
AHC will probably make little sense.

I also suggest not looking the solutions up unless you are absolutely stuck, or need to check to make sure the game isn't broken (I'm talking about you, redbeard's booty). Turning up FOV helps a bit, and Wynntils also helps a lot.

I understand that quests help out with money problems (as today I did a few quests to buy a legendary weapon). I meant that I'll do some of them, but I wont be fully focused on quests. I rather do things that I find fun than just doing something I dont find fun.
