Mage/Dark Wizard Help How To Use Hadal

I noticed that hadal seems to be intended to be used as a spell weapon (can't tell if it's more heavy spell or spellspam cause high mr vs +spell cost and +spell dmg), but it seems to be hard to put into a build due to its ridiculous intel requirement and seems to be outclassed in almost every way by fantasia (it took me a while to get hadal to 17-18k auras while fanta seems to be able to exceed 20k easily with 1-cost auras). Is it actually useless or do I just not know how to build with it? And if it's the latter, can someone please give me an example?

 

17k-18k is around the damage hadal gets if you don't really wanna go glassy, it's intention is not to be Fantasia but to have great piercing and good spammability. Obviously a rainbow mythic would do more damage than a pure water one, and if you get a decent hadal in a normal build you will end up with like 15-17 Mana regen and 3 Mana auras, which will actually be better than Fanta's Mana sustain.
If you get a godly hadal you will have 17 mr with 2 Mana auras, but that's probably expensive.

 

What iTechnically said just about sums up Hadal. Imo it's an overrated weapon that's somehow more expensive than Fanta despite the fact that Fanta performs better than Hadal...


Your best chances of getting high dmg out of Hadal is actually using half-large lapis rings for huge spell dmg% buffs whilst retaining 129 int
