Sniper??

Ok

Once upon a time a lunar boi was lootrunning peacefully with his shaman because he only had 20le in his bank

He used the same route MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE in the past YEAR to get his items and make money

Then suddenly some guy teleports in front of me with his speed gear and says I’m “sniping” and that he was going to “report me”

I’m sitting there, dumbfounded as to why this guy was hating on me... I was just lootrunning, tryna make some cash...

He mentioned a lootrunning discord but that’s it :/

Someone plz clear this up I’M JUST TRYING TO PLAY THE GAME :(

 

I have no idea. There isn't even really a rule against taking loot chests other people are going for, it's just a dick move. The lootrunning discord is by no means official, and even if you claim a server on it, don't expect that those of us not on it will know or care.

 

So basically from what I understand, in the lootrunners discord, you can schedule a specific time in a specific world to make sure nobody interferes

But since you're obviously not in that discord, you really don't need to worry about it. You're not breaking any rules so him reporting you won't do any good. Just continue to play the game and ignore people that try to stop you from doing what you want. (or join the discord and schedule a time and world) but personally I think that discord is just a festival of entitled people complaining so yeah

 

i use the lootrunning discord. the last time i ran into another lrer i let him have the rest of run and gave him a detailed explanation of which chests i hadn't looted yet. pretty amazed that sniping culture exists :/

 

No ones really explained anything of worth yet. Basically, on the loot runners discord you can check which worlds have been looted recently to find a world you want to loot (that has been up for like 3+ hrs).

This system works very well but it only works if people go onto the discord and say that they are loot running a specific world in a specific place. This data is then added to the database so other people don’t try and loot that world at the same time or soon after.

This person probably saw a good world that hasn’t been looted in a while and went onto it to see someone in the process of looting it without having logged it into the discord. I’ve experienced this fist hand and it is annoying to I suggest that everyone does join the loot runners discord.

There’s no rules being broken, it’s just annoying.

So basically what you’re saying is that this schedule for lootrunners exists and those who are in the discord have to follow it.. but some people in said discord are stuck-up and hate for interfering with their runs...

But at the end of the day it’s just general hate or annoyance, so I ain’t breaking any rules :D
