Mage Healing Not Working

Hi there,

I recently returned to wynncraft (yet again) to level up a new character with a friend, because I had a hunted mage left over at low level (The only mage ive ever made) I decided this would make for a good support class to their warrior. However, It appears that when attempting to use my rejuvinate spell, no healing is done to allies regardless of proximity or even if we're in a party.

I may be misunderstanding this as its my first ever mage but shouldnt rejuvinate be healing my party members and whatnot?

You were on the same server and close enough together?
What level are you? maybe you don't have enough healing power for there to be a noticeable difference. You may also have negative attributes to heal power, like -water damage, low hp, or something like that

If you are talking about shaman, which I dont think you are, they dont get the regeneration effect on totem until level 16.

They were stood right next to me while we were testing it, i had no negatives to healing (at least none that are specified on any armor/weapon etc.) with a level 40ish mage and upon spam casting the spell, they gained no more health than their natural regen (also wyntills mod didnt register any healing and chat didnt say anything). Im wondering if this is an effect of hunted mode but it doesnt seem like it should be.

If theres any more information that might be helpful to understanding this im happy to provide it. Additionally, if this is a bug ill happilly submit a report, i just wanted to be sure first.

I would assume its preventing you from receiving or giving out heals to other players given the PVP nature of hunted. Not 100% sure because I don't play hunted myself.

 

i'm pretty sure it's because of hunted mode.

try telling your friend to either
a. disable hunted mode and try again
or
b. make a party, and join that party

 

I kinda figured it wouldve been because of hunted but it seems somewhat silly because to me (personally) it feels like healing should still work on party members and such, especially given im not able to damage them or anything.

If it is hunted its not the end of the world but it does feel rather bad to choose a support class to work together only to find you cant actually support them :(

Appreciate the assistance but in this case; im the one in hunted, its the permanent hunted mode from class creation and we've tryed both players and other players (another high-level friend) being the one to make the party.

You're not wrong that those things might help usually but in this case they either arent relevant (my poor explaination didnt help with this tbh) or weve already tried them.
