I have a suspicion that TWA mana steal may be avoided more due to building trends than actual competitiveness. I'd like to test that by seeing how good these builds actually are.

I personally don't think TWA manasteal isn't used as much because of building trends, it's just that when you take out efteling, you get either TWA mixed Mana such as the cluster build above or TWA Mana Regen builds which are superior, just due to the nature of items (for example - memento, virtuoso and Capricorn all focus around Mana Regen rather than Mana steal, there are no real better replacements other then ventus or steamjet, and steamjet doesn't have Mana steal by itself, it is basically a damage slap and requires you to get your Mana from other places. Also, you would most likely have to use atlas to slow down your attack speed, as there aren't any other options, most common being tenuto and aphotic, thus you cannot use damage boosters like vortex brace). This is of course without item balances, which bring out some good TWA options that builders aren't aware of yet, and so I think this should wait until post-update to really see it's its effect.

Yeah builds definitely tend towards mixed mana

ayoo bro this is for warring so I don't really care about taking damage lol, so that's a good aspect
I'm not gonna die to level 50 mobs
though I don't like not having hpr and having to rely on lifesteal, especially when it's only 260 lifesteal, I will have to rely on health pots which isn't great even though it is a war
