A Few Questions About Hich (answered)

Hi, just wondering some things before I start an HICH class

- Is it true that if you /kill in HICH, you don't lose your Hardcore tag?
- If you get killed by a player, do you lose your Hardcore tag?
- Are there any resources/threads/guides/tips and tricks on running HICH?
- Is it worth doing it? (probably not)
- What is the best/easiest class to do HICH in?
- Any weird facts or things I should know before I attempt it?

[EDIT] One last question, is HICH worth it? or should I just attempt HIC? Due to some items such as Toxo, is it even worth doing HICH because a toxo user could just end your run?

I'm 90% sure /kill doesn't remove it

I'm also 90% sure that player deaths count

Is it worth it? Well, if you want a challenge. The grind with profs you can't use for other classes is pretty eh though.

The best classes are Assassin and Mage I think, they both have high survivability

 

Mage definitely one of the best for hich, if not the best, purely because of teleport and heal, so when you get attacked by another player, you can teleport away or if you're on low, you can heal without having to worry about health pots

Assassin is also amazing for it because you can murder anyone who tries murder you, and if they're higher level than you, you can just vanish away

 

Warrior might not suck because warrior is good until the late game and the extra defense might help. however you would struggle to escape from fights.

only difference is you need to watch out for other players. Also I wouldn't recommend doing any quests that give quest items until you plan on doing the quest that requires them. with limited inventory space you don't want a quarter of it filled with items you won't use for another 30-40 levels

- /kill is the best way not to lose the sweet hardcore tag, you don’t lose the red
- and yeah players can make you lose the tag
- there’s a hic discord (pm me for the invite if you want it)
- Yes definitely worth it you get a rank (cough Linny rank when) and ultimate flex points
- Mage (ig you alr know that)
- Always have scrolls in hotbar, /kill is best way to cheese hhic, and it’s hhic not hich

I think I already answered the last question but you never technically have to go to dern mats to beat hhic.

 

Just want to mention a couple things from the post above,

Saying it like that makes /kill sound like a good option, but you should only ever think about using it in very dire situations since you will drop tons of items, including armour/weapons probably.

Yes, always have a number of scrolls, but idrk why /kill is being advertised as good... If you can use scrolls over /kill then definitely do that, but since scrolls don't work often, if you really need to get out of somewhere fast, /kill would be the best way to go

Oh true I forgot about that, I guess if you have enough space you could do that but it also kinda defeats the purpose of using /kill as an instant escape

 

It is a lot less grindy doing hhic/hich over hic so I definitely recommend it. A toxo user can't ruin your run until level 86 anyways

-no, u wont lose ur hardcore tag if u commit /kill, but u will still lose some items
-yes, being killed by a player count as a death and u will lose ur hardcore tag

-there isnt an actually easiest or best class for hich/hic, but probably mage and/or archer are a pretty good classes, mage is pretty good for the healing spell but if u want to survive and fighting when u start prob archer is the best (fuck assassin/ninja, all my homies hate assassin/ninja)
-u cant use the bank, it isnt writted in the ironman thing, and also effects from other classes wont be getted like speed from other archers or warrior scream effects from warriors. and also dont take too high lvl ings that u dont need at that lvl, and also when u do dungeons throw away the principal thing u get (like that bone from decrepit sewers when u win it) cause u cant use dungeons rewards items except gathering tools.

ah yea also last thing to say, at low lvl (at least 10 lvl of difference) higher player cant try killing u, and alsopay more attemption at players that have the [pvp] tag so u know when to do alt + f4 to save ur life, or just /class and also, dont do dungeons at lvl (except undergroth ruins its too easy)
