Expected Fps Or No

New to wynncraft. Got a new gpu and figured it could handle about anything I throw at it.



settings- basically maxed excpet antialishing off , antisrophasdfk off, and particolszies r decreased

Doing quests/going around wynncraft I usually get 120+ fps but at times in "populated" citys/villages It can dip lower than 60 with no shadies. Is this lower than whats expected from this system or na

Well, i'd say that your fps is absolutely amazing, even the fps with shaders on. Just to show how amazing i think your fps is, when i go to run EO i have to do /kill at the eye boss fight, just because the fps goes straight from around 50 to 1 frame every 2secs. And I'm not even exaggerating. But..... i'd just like to ask what fps you normally have when playing on singleplayer?

 

Well I have my fps locked at 141 so without shaders I dont go below 120. With high end shaders I get like 120-110 lowest 80 just running around. I did unlocked my fps without shaders and lowered to 12 render distance managed to get 1000 fps just looking at the sky. I'm just not sure if wynncraft is fps hungry or my stuff is messed up.

 

Ok, i think it's just because of the amount of commands that go into making Wynncraft, and the amount of people that hang out around Detlas, with a side potion of the shaders

 

I have a significantly worse computer than that and get a good framerate even with shaders on most of the time. You might wanna turn down some of your settings a bit.

 

He has an RTX 2070...

 

Wynn uses a lot of armor stands and other entities which cause a lot of lag. Another thing to note is that you're running a newer version of minecraft and they are usually a lot more resource heavy than 1.12.2 so I would recommend switching your version. I would also recommend setting your fps cap higher or setting it to unlimited.

 

Why do you need more than 60FPS? I rarely go above 80 and I don't have any lag.

 

My monitor is 144hz so its kind of uncomfortable when it get below 100 but I get your point. I guess I just expected more from a high end gpu.

 

Not going to lie I can't even tell the difference from highest to lowest settings lol, I'll go over performance than it looking slightly nicer anyday.

I usually have 80 in most places, it may dip in Detlas as a lot of people use particles there and trade n stuff
