Excavation Site D Bugged

So I was trying to defeat the final form of Amadel, but as soon as I kill him, he respawns with full health again. When I try to go to the exit, it says I haven't killed him yet. Any idea?

 

Amadel has 3 forms, after killing the first form he moves on to the second, and so on. Upon killing the third form, you get the item you need to give to that person at the exit.
If it is not working as I just described, please report a bug in the bug reports section here on the forums.

EDIT: actually he might have 4 forms, I dont remember exactly

 

There are some bosses in Wynn that have multiple phases that you have to beat to beat the boss. Amadel is one of these bosses, you can tell what phase he is on by the amount of bars on the top right side of where his health is displayed. I believe the last stage of Amadel has 3 forms.
