What do you all think of the new Mojang game?

I bought it when it was released, at first, I thought it would be pretty short since there were only 9 levels and the rest is replaying the game. But there were actually 15 levels, six of them are secret areas. There's also the multiple items and artifacts which can be combined in a lot of different ways, which even if they don't make it easier for you it can add more fun ways to play.

The mobs are pretty simple which I like, some bosses feel a bit lackluster especially the nameless one I was a bit too hyped for that mob though. But there are a few things that need improving in the mobs and the bosses, currently, mobs and miniboss can get stuck multiple times, you can also lose the agro of bosses just by going a few blocks away from the screen (didn't test that for every boss). There's also the problem of where do you spawn when you die fighting the boss, but these are mostly bugs.

And yes, there are a lot of bugs. And if I understand it correctly, if you uninstall your Minecraft dungeon launcher you're save will get deleted (I'm not completely sure), I've also read a bug that when you clone and delete the cloned character the inventory of the main one gets deleted. You would also get stuck when rolling around frequently if your not careful, and the map might show some inaccessible areas which might take a lot of your time if you're stubborn. There's also the issue that there are places that seems you can roll to but you actually can't. And a lot of time exploring the map can be very unrewarding since it's common to not get anything other than a few emeralds or sometimes nothing.

Personally, I would recommend waiting until the bugs get fixed and maybe even for a discount. Though, i would personally buy it regardless of the bugs and even the price which admittedly is a bit high but decent in my opinion.

TLDR; I love the game, but the bugs are killing me. Also, please add a way to remove your enchantments without salvaging your favorite weapons.

Also, here's a way to get unlimited arrows in the tutorial.

Edit: I just fought the nameless one again, and honestly, if you don't have OP gear it can be pretty enjoyable. The only problem is that you can hide in the corner all you want.

I'm interested in it, but I feel like there are just other similar games I would rather play. I'm also not a huge fan of dungeon crawlers with a dislocated third-person perspective, and it doesn't sound like there's a lot to set it apart from other titles. Still, it's kind of cool and I might just get it to play with friends.

Like the post above, I'm interested, but there's a lot of other games within that genre that I've found myself interested in more because of the game perspective. I'm open to trying it, but because it's based off of the concept of a game I already play, it's not really that driving for me to go out and purchase it separately. If I wanna fight mobs in Minecraft, I'll just play Minecraft. If I wanna dungeon crawl, I've got other games for that.

it's your typical dungeon crawler. if it wasn't minecraft themed, not a lot of people would be interested in it.

How is that? I mean, there's a lot of minecrafty stuff in Minecraft Dungeons.
For example, the abilities of the mobs and their fighting style are mostly based on Minecraft, the artifacts and enchantments have lots of similar things to Minecraft. And honestly, the design of the world and mobs by itself is very very impressive.
The game is pretty friendly to kids just like Minecraft, and at the same time, it doesn't make it too simple for us. We can use lots of combinations with those 6 slots, and nearly all enchantments have their uses.
The game still needs a few improvements but in general, the style of Minecraft Dungeons has lots of things in common with Minecraft except that it's a dungeon crawler and a few other things.

Fair point. Maybe I'll rethink my opinion on Minecraft Dungeons.
