How Good Is My Current Character? (shaman Yay)

My armor is Climbing Helmet, Hide of Gregg'r, Morph-Iron and Galloping Spurs. Weapon is Discotek with 2 tier 4 thunder powders. I tried applying a tier 4 water powder to the Morph-Iron but my water defense is still at -30 for whatever reason. How good is this character? What can you guys recommend?

The main thing I can see is that you lack mana recovery options; you could probably replace Greggr’s Hide with Blasphemy or Marius’ Prison.
I’d also replace the Climbing helm with something that gives more health, since it’s not really doing much for you. Beyond that, I’d look out for a Shine Suffocator; it’s legitimately one of the most powerful weapons in the mid game, and it straight up carried my shaman all the way to level 80ish. It’s that good.

 

I use the climbing helmet because it gives +67 to normal attack, and sure I got like 6 LE in bank so if i find a shine suffocator i'll get it

 

As it seems you're trying to make a melee build, I suggest replacing every piece of morph set with something that helps your main attack. A switch in weapons, preferably to something with Earth would probably also help, for example Earth Relic Relik or Pangea.

 

on the contrary, feel free to be enslaved by meta commit to morph instead and run something like this
if you've already lost the quest rewards then find some stuff near your level with either mana regen or skill points
spurs is cool if you're a for fun player but it sucks combat-wise imo
