Glitched Item ("called" Damass)

So about 5 years ago I played this server and I had this pair of leggings that were named "Damass" and I went into my bank this morning and found that the item had a glitched text box and the name was still there but it had question marks. I looked up the item on the forum and found that it isn't even an item. I would like to know what this is and why it is happening and yeah.. hopefully someone responds

I would like to add that today I decided to try the server out again and I've got to say wow it has changed and is a lot more stable than it used to be... I really like the improvements. Good work to all of the people behind the development of this server!

 

When they changed the way items worked in, what was it? the Gavel update? anyway when they changed it, any item with an accent in the name (e.g. Montefiore or Damasse, which is what you had) got glitched. Some people keep them for nostalgia, but you can't sell it because it's a glitched item.
