I'm an assassin, and I'm tired of having to use scrolls, vanish, and slow sprinting to travel. I wanna become fast.

    - I noticed some players zooming around. How can I be like them? I assume I need some armour with speed buffs... I am combat 20 atm.
    - I randomly get speed 3. How can I get that effect?
    - Maybe there is food I can make that will help me? I've never cooked other than the baker quest.

At level 20 armor speed buffs would only push you about 5% ish per piece, whereas simply sprint jumping would add 30%. If I were you I would just hold it out until you hit level 34, where you can complete a quest called ‘Stable Story’ which would give you access to horses, which can be extremely fast.

As for the random speed 3, archers that are level 36+ can splash speed when they use their movement spell.

    1. There's not really that much in the way of speed gear for lower levels
    2. level 26+ archers can apply speed to other players
    3. There's a couple low level ingredients that can be used to boost walk speed: the Flugsvamp Cap, in particular, is probably your best bet

If you're looking for speed, assassins can get speed 5 while vanished from level 46 onward
you okay dude? you answered his question twice

You guys say that “there’s not really that much of speed gear for lower levels” when you can get 164-184% speed as a lvl 1 lmao

Use that if you don’t want to bother with crafteds.

That's not gonna be worth the time investment to find nor the money investment to buy

If you really want to build speed I'd focus on just getting the accessories and Dagger (preferably powdered) from this build; the armor is generally not going to last long enough to be worth trying to invest in, especially the boots since a much better pair, the Almuj Walkers, are available at level 25.

I'd also wait on the rings; there are multiple better walk speed rings coming up at level 27 (Uriel) and 39 (Ehwaz)

Also, how have none of us mentioned the fact that agility is generally the best skill point category to invest in for Walk Speed boosts?

Listen, he wanted a speed build so I’m giving him one. The fact that it’s a bit on the expensive side means nothing.
If someone posted a build with a mythic in it when someone asks for a good build in the “Class Builds” section, would you start complaining, saying that it’s too expensive and the one who wanted the build will probably not be able to afford it?

And there's armor that gives more then 5% a peace at level 20.

You shouldn't really worry about walk speed if you're patient enough, also you can slightly charge with Vanish (left-click immediately after casting the spell to avoid using up mana). Wynn isn't very big, so you can get from Detlas to Nesaak in a few minutes even without exceptional walkspeed. The usual archer buffing your speed is nice, but don't be obsessed over how fast you go.

They’re a new player; it’s really not a good idea to slow down their gameplay experience by having them chase down specific items that they’re gonna end up outlevelling on a short time, especially since some of the items, like the chestpiece, give no HP at all, which will just end up making their gameplay experience significantly harder and more arduous. 215 HP at level 20 is effectively half the HP of the average build at that level, and anywhere from a third to a quarter of the health of a level 30 player, but Stepon’s probably isn’t gonna know that unless they either do their research or happen to read this. Also, the early game generally goes by too fast to make spending time or money on a specific build worth it to begin with, hence why I recommended they wait.

Also, your class builds example is misleading; most people in the class builds section know to specify if they can afford a mythic or not, and those who post builds with mythics themselves usually either have that mythic or the ability to buy it or are making the build for the benefit of others who do have the mythic.

Not to mention Stepon never asked for a specific build to begin with; they just had questions about the fast players (who are usually endgame players because it’s not a good idea to make a full build in the early game) and the speed buffs they occasionally got from other players. If Stepon wants to go for a full walkspeed build, they should wait until the midgame at the very least, and probably until the late or endgame, where build crafting is actually worth one’s time.

If you’re going to provide a build for new players, at least add in the caveats it comes with. Don’t send them on a fool’s errand that just wastes their time or money.

What do you mean when you say, “he never asked for a build”, I’m a bit confused considering he asked both in the title and in the post.

Stepon’s (presumably) asking about the players he’s seen using endgame builds to stack walk speed. Those players are using endgame builds to do so, not building at level 20. He also isn’t asking for a build, he’s simply asking how to be fast like they are, in which case the best answer is if he wants to go as fast as those players, he’s going to have to wait until level 46 for the speed boost from vanish, and until then he should focus his skill points in agility since agility based gear tends to give walk speed. Nothing about his question needs a specific build to answer it; it just needs general pointers, most of which amount to wait until you’re a higher level, or check your gear for walk speed as you level. If he wanted a specific build for it, he should specify so, or even better, make a post in class builds.

Of course it isn't once you get used to it. Compare this server's map to any other server's, they can't possibly compare in size.

It also feels lot smaller when you start getting fast travel points, although goddamn it makes you feel that walk between Detlas and Lutho

You know the walk between Ragni and Detlas? It’s like that except longer, curvier, and mobs on your way there have the ability to blind you and are just generally complete nuisances

And there’s no fast travel between them

Thanks everyone for the help. I understand that speed is not a good idea to go for at my level, its just that I'm more used to playing Hypixel Skyblock (I played since release) and getting speed there is relatively easy if you have coins. Wynn is a lot different I see, so I'll bear with it untill I can get a horse. For now I'm just doing quests, dungeons, skill leveling and just exploring. Still everyone thanks for the info!!!
