    Hey everyone,

Just got back my build app, I got promising which is better than I expected because I have actually improved an incredible amount since the time I sent it in, and I feel like my second try might be it.

Anyway, a few days ago I posted this thread, where I had a massive massive tree as the centerpiece. I really liked the dynamic that this created, but I didn't execute it as well as I would have liked to, and it also burnt down. Qulaey gave me some great advice [and has been giving me some great advice since I started posting here], so I thought it would be pretty appropriate if I took some inspiration from a few builds of his and made a vibe out of it.

This is what came of it:

I am overall really happy with how it came out, though this is still not 100% finished and I have a bit of a to-do list, which includes re-colouring some terrain [especially near the big arch, yikes] and adding more trees and shrubbery.

My main problem with the build however, is my composition and the organic. I tried to go for sort of a serpent which circles the island ominously, but I don't think I captured that very well. Struggling a lot with getting the face right lmao

As always, suggestions and criticism (and praise myb ;)) are welcome.
    Have a good day

Could you take the screenshots during day or use night vision? It's kinda hard to see the detailing and what is going on in dark places

You said everything I had to say at the bottom. This build is pretty...
The tree looks WAY better than last time, I see that you've taken alot away from that gemini tay video. The leaves and the vines no the tree now looks way better.

The first thing I would like to go over is the tree, it has a couple of things which you could improve on. The leaves on the outside of the tree look fine enough but the major problem is when you look at it from the bottom of the tree which exposes the lack of twigs branching off of the tree which makes it look empty.

The second thing with the tree is the vines using saplings on the leaves. There seems to be a lot of them and since they are just chain bunches all over the place and on such a big build it makes it look kinda odd. (I would also recommend using the base of sunflowers as vines since I personally believe they look better.)

Your structures look good however, the problem is that the oak wood logs blend in with the tree and makes it look kinda odd.

My major problem with the build is all of the terrain along with the arch. You seem to follow a simple rule which is to have a beach base form a ring around the islands and then use dirt with a another ring and then fill in the remaining with dirt; it's not a terrible build strategy for small islands but the problem is there is no merge between the sand and dirt/grass it's just suddenly there. The problem with the arch is that it just looks odd and out of place.

That's all I could think about off the top of my head, keep on trying even harder, I look forward to the next progress update you have.
(Sorry if I seemed a bit bossy or rude I'm just extremely picky when it comes to small details.)

Yeah, it's still a work in progress :) I agree with all of your points, I was just really excited and wanted to share the build with everyone here. Like I mentioned in the post though, I'm looking to recolour the terrain especially around the arches and just in general

I've seen better giant trees, but this tree is still EPIC. How much is the rent to stay in one of those tree houses? Would definitely live there :P

I'd love to see this somewhere in the sea in Wynncraft. It looks worthy of being there.
