Should I Do Professions?

I’ve heard that it’s very grindy and not really worth it. But is it? If it is worth it, which ones should I focus on?

I think you should try profs. Start with 2 different gatherings and 1-2 craftings. If you start all of them at the same time you can get overwhelmed, but that’s totally your choice. Profs tend to get very Grindy at higher levels (you really start to notice at lv 70 imo), but the first dozen levels are very quick. If you decide that profs are boring before lv 50, I would recommend to stop as they only get wayyy longer. I’m not the highest profession person but as a player with 100+ in every profession, I can assure you that it wasn’t that bad (especially with bombs) and the prof community is a great one.

If this is your first playthrough, I recommend not doing profs because it makes new players feel that the game is too grindy. Thats why I recommend doing profs on a fully leveled class so that you can gather and progress much faster. If you have already done a few playthroughs, maybe 2 or 3 classes at lvl 100+, then I would recommend profs. To be fair I have never done profs as they are too grindy for me but this is what I think

 

Do prof after you reach level 103

 

First complete the game as 2-3 different classes. Then think about it

 

Play the game alot more before you do profs, but never do it on your first playthrough
