What New Class Should Be Added?

Hello, you! I'm sure you're wondering what this is. I think that there should be even MORE classes in Wynncraft. And I'd like your suggestions on what class you think should be added. I'll go first: bard. It could be another support, like the Shaman, but also maybe cleric. Maybe there should be subclasses, so maybe start a cleric, then go to either Shaman or Bard. Anyways, to you guys!

First: They take work. A lot of work. A new class would need items to be created. then there is balancing problem, how would it fit into the game, etc.

Wynncraft is currently already unstable enough by itself. I would prefer they dedicate work to repair the current, existing problem.

2nd: The current five already covered a wide range of playstyles.
Warrior being a Frontline attacker
Mage being supporter
Archer being a long ranged damage dealer
Shaman controls the environment.
Assassin being close ranged damage dealer.

I think these five is able to cover most, if not all of the possible playstyles and class builds made them even more diverse. I would love to hear how one would able to create a new playstyle.

3rd: Increased complexity hurts new players.
I personally think wynn did great with its classes. Providing five simple, straightforward choices that can be more diverse at will due to the existence of class builds.

Want clerics? Run a tanky spellspam mage with WFA archetype.
Want bards? Fast hybrid (not recommended) and spellsteal mage got you covered.

Think of a "subclass" as a build. Basically changes the way that class plays entirely.
Spell "subclasses" we have:
eTFA/TFA hybrid spell (defensive)
ETW True glass cannon hybrid
EWF Health regen based spellspam
EWA Hybrid spell (+ws)
TWF Low cost (spellspam kinda) spell
TWA Generic glassy spellspam
WFA Tanky spellspam

Melee "subclass" we have:
ETA glassy melee tierstack
ETF defensive/sustain melee tierstack / Heavy Melee
EFA Fast melee (defensive, +ws and health regen)
TFA kinda, Cancelstack (this died kinda)

Think my third point is an expansion of second point lol.

besides at this point I'd rather they expanded the current classes with new Major IDs and spells

 

Adding Shaman was already kinda iffy imo. Adding another class would probably be a terrible idea.

 

Gavel revamp when

 

They said it won't be in one update, they'll revamp Gavel gradually

 

Jeez you don't have to have a go at the man for asking what class you would like to see in Wynncraft given it is completely hypothetical lol. Personally I think a bard sort of class would be pretty cool

Agreed. I'd much rather Fruma than another class, but I don't want to steal this thread to talk about Fruma.

I like the current classes and am still on my Shaman playthrough.

 

Honestly, rather than new classes i would prefer more choices within the classes that already exist. Something like swapping out skills for other, slightly different but same main purpose ones or perhaps weapons changing your gameplay style as well (difference between a light spear and a heavy ass hammer haharofl).

 

Something with electromagic would be nice

warrior isn't good enough to compete with other classes, it's not a good tank it's supposed to be a tank but every class exells at tank but warrior
