I found Minecraft progression to be quite tiring after repeating it over and over, and i want to know how you all feel about it and what you all like to do to progress in game.

I've been playing minecraft for 8 years and I really like to mine. It took me 7 years till i was ready to beat the enderdragon on one of my survival worlds on my bedrock edition thing. Some things in minecraft are repetitive, but I think that because they keep updating it there's usualy something to do thats new.

It is all cool until you realize there are no upgrades to building which means building big things in survival is painful

In all seriousness I know it's not exactly a "building" upgrade, but it's nice not falling to your death if your thumb slips off shift or something

Yeah but I'm talking about the fact building walls takes years because you can only place one block at a time

I liked it before the update to villages, but now you can just get some fletchers, trade sticks for emeralds and buy OP gear on day 1. I liked it when you had to actually mine for diamonds and farm experience for enchants.

And also, you have to mine everything to place the blocks by hand.
I don't get how those like hermitcraft yters build all those megabases
plus I just suck at building

Lots and lots of TNT to get materials, putting a pebble on the right mouse button and structures that have more exterior than interior, I'm guessing.

I just wish there was more variety to overall gameplay because after you reach the End it gets kinda stale. For example, the Create mod re-creates automation in Minecraft. It's not just like other mods like Tekkit that try to automate everything; you can also have opening gates, windmills, and rotating structures too, which adds a whole new dimensions to building. Another example would be seasons to spice up gameplay longterm. So you could have a host of new features such as freezing, overheating, seasonal mobs, etc.

Minecraft progression is very one dimensional, "endgame" can be reached incredibly easily even if you're not rushing. The only thing to do after like the end is building, redstone inventions, and like achievements, I guess.
