Media Wynncraft's Worst Feature And Greatest Scam "item Bombs"

Here we go again.

Ill say it again: The whole point about the shop is that you DONATE the money to the server. Them giving you back something in turn is just their way of thanking you. The whole point of that system is to not have wallet warriors run around and throwing their money at the devs for their own benefit. It's just a small "gambling" aspect that really should not be taken too seriously.

Imo, shop prices are fair and square, especially if you can just WAIT until a sale where stuff is like 20%-70% off.

Now wait a second there, buckaroo. Are you saying that just because you can have small benefits from donating, nevermind the fact that those benefits affect the entire 50 ppl on your server, that the whole game is Pay to win?
Sorry, but you have never seen proper Pay to Win then. You can literally get anything on the server without paying a single bogey, except for vanity items that, lets be honest, only make your game lag and won't physically improve your character.

 

Is the problem with them really this severe?

 

Idk bout you but saving multiple stx of le in with prof spd does seem p2w to me. Even if you can do everything without the bombs, the bombs save you a very significant amount of money
Atleast they saved me a few stx

 

imo this server is way less p2w than it should be, these guys could do with earning more money to actually pay good staff to push for more content more quickly

 

Wynn is getting a lot of revenue tho, people are buying shout/prof spd/prof exp/dungeon/combat exp bombs like its candy. Wynn is very stable finacially imo

 

no it's not, like half the staff are working as volunteers without getting paid

 

Item bombs are a trash concept anyways, they reward insanely lucky players with potential mythics, for clicking a button, while every other guy in the world gets the shaft. Giving mythics out the insanely lucky isn't rewarding at all, I rather they just remove item bombs, and replace them with scrap bombs or something. Item bombs really only give scrap, as the shit you get usually is just scrap fodder.

In my opinion, NajimiChan seems to be right - item bombs are just a way of letting players donate to the server and they're not really meant to be that good; HOWEVER, I totally see your point that when comparing them to other bombs (dungeon, exp, x2 speed, x2 prof), they are very underpowered. I would also say the same for party, disguise and soul point bombs though (and ingredient bombs are a joke).
I think that maybe the amount of item bombs should probably be buffed to a few more, but really I don't see the point in buying them ever anyway.

If there was a bundle you could buy with a few of each bomb, then I feel like each bomb would seem less pointless.

 

not really as lring is also based on your gear, and lring takes way more dedication and prep than clicking a link.

(AND PLUS ITEM BOMBS ARE PAID)
