Dwarven Dynamite Is Manufactured By A 5 Year Olds

so im just doing my quests pretty normal right and when im doing DnD part 2 and i try picking up TnT it does not let me. Any ways to fix this?

the part where ur supposed to use the cannons to destroy every war machine

This bug happens quite frequently. Really, the only thing you can do is try doing /class or swapping worlds until it works (maybe swapping versions to, and 1.12.2 is the most stable version if you're not already on it).
