So I was told that the water dmg ID on King of Hearts is supposed to add to the item's healing.

    How does that work?

Water damage % just increases the amount you heal by, I believe by the same % (can I get someone to fact check this please).

Basically the Water Damage ID adds half of its value to each of your heal pulses (and thus the entirety of the heal is boosted by that percentage). So let's say your heal heals 4000 health combined and you have 50% water damage. That means that the amount of health healed will be boosted by 50 / 2 = 25%. This means that in my example, the heal will grant you a total of 4000 * (100 + 50 / 2) / 100 = 5000 HP.

To help you understand it better, I added my example as a Wynndata link.

Ok I see how that works. Does this only apply for water dmg IDs on the weapon, or is it also increased because of water dmg from armor/accessories?

It counts regardless what it's on, wether it be a weapon, armour, an accessory or even a potion. As long as it's specifically the Water Damage % ID it will count towards your heal.

    damn, the more you know.

I'm assuming that other dmg types have effects as well, what are they?

Water damage is actually the exception. All the other elemental damage IDs only boost their respective element.
