Shaman/Skyseer The Watched Build, Any Way To Improve It?

    Ummm this is not optimal as you don’t have mana sustain nor damage
    You could go melee but the attack speed of the watched doesn’t favour it so you are better off with some spell

    my build does more damage than this one so i don't see it as an improvement

    bigger number != better, you need mana sustain to be able to use spells consistently.

    Hey there. Time to drop some knowledge. For judging the damage a spell build can do, you should use DPs (damage per second) instead of the damage of spells. The damage of spells surely does effect the build's DPs, but so do other things such as mana and spell costs and well.. how fast you can actually cast spells. How to measure spell dps? Just go to a test dummy in detlas and try to kill it as fast as possible. Divide it's health by the time it took you to kill it in seconds. About the only way to find out your spell dps.

    There are no concrete fixed values for the amount of mana and spell costs you should have according your damage, it's more of a thing you realise as you keep building. But here's some very general guidelines for spell costs and mana themselves. Keep in mind I'm not accounting for spell damage in accordance with spell costs in these guidelines.

    1 cost aura: 6/4 mr
    2 cost aura: 8/4 mr
    3 cost aura: 10/4 mr or higher
    (Still recommend staying above these limits, just make sure you don't sacrifice your damage)

    These are also effected by the costs of other spells being higher due to items or your specific weapon so keep that in mind.
