What Quest Do You Hate The Most?

Pit of the dead is just go into this hole, do some parkour, and run into some well, really boring.

Aldorei Pt 1 is p cool, but part 2 is so on the nose that it feels like the elves are secretly bad or something, but then there's no followup

Realm of Light was way to hyped up to be this amazing quest, but it kind of falls flat on the lore

I would put these on the feedback form for quests, but I still need some time to really come up with what exactly is wrong with them

I hate point of no return the most. I just never figured out how to do the puzzles. The part with the ice and following your soul took a super long time for me to figure out. I figured out that you need to follow the candles or something? Also the part where you need to switch the platforms around and kinda make a parkour course takes a super long time.

 

The olmic rune. This quest is literally "wAlK kIlL sUrViVe" and you get that shitty reward called "TOL Rune", wich has a pretty accurate name (TOL = Temple of Legends, the third worst quest in the game). It also lacks on lore

I agree. I found the parkour very hard as whenever I switched places with my soul, I almost always managed to fall right off the platforms and had to start over.... it was so frustrating :I

I really dislike Finding the light. It is too much of a go here and there and oops wait no now you have to go back over there but please take this with you, quest. It is such a pain to do and it just makes me really frustrated and what makes me sad is that like half of the NPCs in Cinfras are for this quest. I also dislike The Realm of Light but no where near as much as this one.

I hate almost all of the Llevigar, Olux, and Dark Forest quests. They are all just really bland and don't provide enough story or lore for me. The quests Then again there are a few good ones like the Iron Heart storyline or Taproot. This section of the game is also kinda a knockoff of Wynn's storyline as in there is the Decay which is absolutely, completely different from the corruption. If you can't tell, I hate this part of the game the most but the game does get a lot better when you hit the Light Forest.

Personally I really enjoyed SOME of these quests, like "star thief", "Rise of the quartron" "Master piece" (call it a boring fetch quest if you will but I enjoyed the dialogue and it was fun), and "the maiden tower" because Shrek.

I really do not like the lore, it's too jumbled and doesn't go in one direction so the characters are paper-thin and weak, but I enjoy individual stories and quests.

Dwarves and Doguns sucked btw, the ending was all look how nicely our species get on yay, (cliche) and the "boss" if you can call it that was destroying organs?? inside a massive monster, boring.

P.S: I understand where you're coming from with the corrupt and decay being basically the same thing, seems like a bit of a cop out plot wise when they were creating it lol

I haven't done that yet, but out of experience too many puzzles in one quest is usually a bad thing

I agree that the monster was boring and I would have liked a better final boss but I really enjoyed the Dwarves and Doguns story line, sure it was cliche but I like that kind of cliche. There were some parts that were better than others but it was one of my favorite quests.

Also people keep hating on Point of No Return but that quest was amazing and was one of my, behind AHC, favorite quests in the Silent Expanse

I absolutely despise From the Bottom. It has no point and it's literally running in circles in a super messy and large area for at least 15 minutes. It makes me tired, annoyed and anxious.

Isn't canyon condor the coal mine one? It has nothing to do with the canyon itself, and while it's not great, I wouldn't say it's bad either.

 

The Ghost Ship isn't really anything special though, the quest is literally "Hey walk to over there (Other Nation) and here and there (Random Ghost Ship) and and you finish the quest!

At least it isn't as much of a chore to go into a cave 10 blocks away and kill an unsuspecting iron golem twice than it is to go after a Ghost Ship that's on water a few hundred blocks away.

 

navigating in mesa is bad and if you are archer you can travel 1k blocks in very short amount of time

 

Canyon condor is the one where you need to kill the bird in Rymek

 

That's Canary calls. The Canyon Condor is the Cockratice-quest.

 

You literally just run for a minute, less than that if you have speed 3. It's actually easier with archer and theres nothing to navigate if you have a slight sense of direction.

 

I think its a very well made, interesting, and unique quest.The difficulty is what makes it satisfying, instead of quests holding your hand the entire time and not punishing failure.
