    Introduction
Ah, Friday is here, and I have another piece of lore to post. Welcome again, to Wynnic Lore. I've looked at the poles from the last thread, and third poll had been deleted. Apparently, I had accidentally posted it twice, but I found the original. The problem is, no one else voted for it. Here's a link to a copy of that poll.

The other polls lacked the number of responses I hoped, but for now at least, I don't want to spam everyone with too many polls. Until I post those polls again, I'm going to go with what the most popular answers appeared to be (meaning that this is the last non-Saturday post for a while). Today, I'll cover the topic of Death. Oh, no not that, I mean the real death, the one you meet in Beyond The Grave. There isn't especially much notable lore around him, but that just means more speculation. Keep in mind, the past two posts were more celebratory, this one will be more what to expect from the average Wynnic Lore.

    The Facts
You first meet Death the first time you die. The problem is, for most people, he erases any memories of his realm. To leave his realm and return to life, you simply need to defeat whatever killed you. Death claims that he often allows people do this, but he never seems to like when people actually try to leave. He doesn't appear to put much effort into trying to prevent people from leaving, apart from his mansion being right in front of the door to the realm and a tall metal fence you need to get around to leave.

Death clearly doesn't let everyone return to life though, as there are plenty of souls in and around the mansion. You can find a room filled with hourglasses that Death explains show how long someone has to live. There are other rooms in the mansion that suggest that Death isn't the only one in the realm. If you find his bedroom, he says that he has a wife, and there are several other people that aren't labeled as spirits (Opi, Kaede, and Dark Lord Snugglebuns (the cat (oh, so I've started using parentheses inside parentheses))). The library room Death has is filled with books by other authors that Death himself, although they share a theme (no, I'm not going to use parentheses here). Even the kitchen has a shopping list, and it's very difficult to buy things from yourself. How could you fit the mall in you house? Hopefully the next paragraph will have fewer puns.

Unfortunately, I'm not the only one making bad puns; Death cracks a few jokes as soon as you talk to him... and if you enter the kitchen... or library... help.

    Speculation
Moving on from that pun-pocalypse, hopefully some simple thought will be safer. To the [randomNumber(-20, 0)] people who first of all, haven't already left and second, understood that last joke, this section should be better. There isn't much information to go off of, but I put as much here as a reasonably could. I won't put to much here, instead leaving more for you to think of. Sorry, I've just had a bit of an odd day compared to the schedule I've been trying to set for myself. I will try to put one idea here though.

Dern has a direct magic connection to the realm of darkness and it still has a few hints of light in it, even having a massive light magic obelisk right in the middle of the Silent Expanse. Because of this, it would make sense for Gavel to have a similar dark magic mirror. Of course, there's Naragath's hand, but that was more of a living thing. my guess is that somewhere in Gavel, there may be some dark monument that grants access to dark magic, like a mirrored version of the light obelisk in Lutho. Death's realm has a limited explorable area, so it may have an edge. Funnily enough, you can enter the light obelisk and it takes you to a realm of eternal life, but in a strange, twisted way. The two locations are effectively mirrors of each other.

    The End
Once again, we've reached the end. This wasn't quite what I had wanted, but as I mentioned in the speculation section, I've had a bit of an odd day. I've struggled to finish this, but here we are. Hopefully someone will have found it enjoyable, and next Saturday's post should be better. Yes, next Saturday. As I mentioned earlier, I'm changing my posting schedule. I'm now posting every Saturday (to clarify, by next Saturday, I do not mean tomorrow. I've already posted Wynnic Lore for this week). I'll see you then. Oh, and here are the sources I used.
