This Is Getting Out Of Hand

My list of worst to best movies: Last jedi, Rise of skywalker, attack of the clones, Force awakens, Phantom menace, New hope, return of the jedi, empire strikes back, revenge of the sith.

 

I'm not sure I agree with that at all lol


11) Rogue one
10) Attack of the clones
9) Phantom Menace
8) Last jedi
7) Solo
6) Rise of skywalker
5) Return of the jedi
4) Force awakens
3) Revenge of the sith (because it's fun and insane)
2) Empire Strikes back (Surprised by the lack of story on a second viewing, but acting and action is just top-tier)
1) Star Wars (A new hope)

Putting revenge of the sith top is a dire mistake, it's fun no doubt about that but ummm... it's not class and unique entertainment

 

Fair. I'm guessing you like the old ones for nostalgia as well as the fact they're good movies?

"Only third" xD, I feel bad for putting it so high as the actual film isn't that good. But I can't help myself because I actually enjoy watching it a lot

You do realise that the force awakens is the exact same plot as A new hope

 

Force sensitive user leaves their planet with plans for a huge blow-stuff-up machine and come to the resistance in hopes of blowing it up. They do.


TLJ and ESB aren't really that similar


The now Jedi person goes to try and turn a once-good-guy to the light side. The other good guys want to take down a bigger battle station that is more souped-up than the last one and proceed to try and do that. Meanwhile, the Jedi attacks senate. The senate then uses power to almost kill them, until the bad guy basically no u's palpaltine and he is defeated. The Jedi person says goodbye to the once-bad-guy and they honor him. Then they have a big party.

 

Why you put Rogue One on last place? I would say its best movie and I would like to know your opinion

 

I like how this went from a Tasim and Aledar army to a discussion on star wars movies

I thought so from the very start of this thread

 

Personally I found the story really unengaging, the characters weren't that good (created just to die basically). Had some nice visuals but was a bit forgettable at the end of the day, the one I always remember the least but still an ok film tbh

Well the movie wasn't the greatest K-2 was an amazing character

 

K2 and Chirrut were the standouts IMO; dude was better with a staff than Rey ever was, and I loved the exploration of the force as purely a religion rather than as magic powers
