Opinions On Temple Of The Legends

Hello! This is a simple thread to express your thoughts and complaints on the level 68 'Temple of the Legends' quest.

For example, I like the quest and the thought of it, but I simply cannot finish the quest because my computer can't handle it; I run at 10fps min, 30fps max with the standard, built-in graphics card (which isn't very good in the first place). Because of the abundance of mobs that spawn when entering the Corrupter of Worlds "arena", if you will, my game freezes and I die; I don't even last two minutes! So that sucks.

Do you have any thoughts or complaints, or suggestions for those going into the quest? Any opinions at all are welcome! :)

 

Bring a Fire/Air weapon as those two are the Corrupter's weakness.
Corrupter enjoys bumrushing you with the occasional multihit spell, so keep a bit of distance between you and it.

 

Hey man I understand the feeling of having a bad PC and enduring lag. Unfortunately, there is not that much I can do to help. If you want I could go in my mage and help you kill it, but I’m not sure you would get the token.

 

Tip: on wynn, you generally don't need a far render distance, and especially so in caves like the corrupter's. I'd turn down render to 2 chunks (the minimum), and if possible (I dont quite remeber how much you need to see the particles from him) turn off particles, partially or completely. Also, certain mods such as Optifine can help increase FPS and general clientside lag- it's worth checking out

 

I found with high walk speed, you would want something like 8-9chunk and the world would have less delay/lag, could only be me tho

 

since most mobs have a sound queue before casting spells, id put particles on minimum
