SPOILER Dodegar Is Either The Worst Blacksmith Ever Or A Thief

So as you know, Dodegar Bandysnoot, the supposedly talented Hobbit Blacksmith from the level 75 quest titled "The Ultimate Weapon", makes you a weapon at the end of the quest using ingredients you gather for him. The first thing he requests is 10 wood scraps. Although he only uses 1 of the 10 you bring him, this is what the wood scraps do to a weapon:



Supposedly, a single wood scrap adds from 20 to 28 neutral damage to your weapon when used in smithing. So far so good, right? WRONG. At the end of the quest, this is the weapon that Dodegar makes:



As you can see, Dodegar's so called "Ultimate Weapon" has a damage of 1-3 neutral damage. So this brings me to 1 of 2 conclusions. Dodegar is such a terrible smith that he manages to make a 1-3 weapon even when using a 20-28 ingredient... OR... he is a thief who steals wood scraps from adventurers to make his fortune on the hobbit black market.

Now some people might make the argument that Dodegar actually makes 2 weapons in the quest, supposedly using only 1 wood scrap for both. But these people clearly cannot do math, because if that was the case, each weapon should still have a minimum of 10-14 neutral damage, which it clearly does not.

In conclusion, Dodegar should either be arrested for scamming customers with weapons magically enchanted to be worse than the worst they could possibly be, or he should be arrested for stealing wood scraps from helpless adventurers and dealing them on the hobbit black market. Wynncraft Content Team, I hope you highly consider placing Dodegar in the Kander Forest prison where the little scammer belongs.

 

Why not both?

 

Nah he's just using the wood scraps for leveling up crafting... eventually he'll be able to create the ultimate ultimate weapon (2-6 damage)
