Cause Of The Corruption

So corruption plagued the Wynn province everywhere, right? Where do you guys think it came from?

 

Light + Dark war = Corruption

 

wasn't it the portal in the roots of corruption

 

The portal was opened due to the meeting of light and dark. It, itself, didn't cuase the corruption.

 

I interpreted "came from" as where it actually came from, like its entry point into the wynn province.

Opened. Miners dug deep into the surface looking for emeralds and found the Portal, which had loads of emeralds surrounding it, and of course they went through, finding even more emeralds until they mined too deep in the Nether and awakened the undead.

 

The meeting of light and dark in their battle creates the corruption. The portal was created by this meeting, and opened when the miners found it.

 

So if corruption is the combination of light and dark, then who could be the one responsible for all the dark?

 

THEORY TIME(AKA this is not canon)
-At the beginning of time, there were probably two beings, them being Orphion and the unnamed Dark Beast. The Overworld was created, as well as all life within it.
-Orphion and Dark Beast get into a war over who would have control over the Overworld.
-This war causes the corruption, and the two realms of light and dark take root in the Realm of Light and Dern.
-At 0 AP, the miners find the portal and Gavel has decay and the world starts falling apart.
-The End

 

In the quest Wynnexcavation Site D, it is confirmed that Corruption began, when the two forces, Light and Dark met.

Light originates from The Realm of Light, and its ruler, Orphion.

Darkness originates from The Realm of Dern, accessible through the Silent Expanse, and its ruler, the Unnamed Dern Beast.

From what we know, Orphion and the Dern Beast could have been here from the beginning of time, and they probably have been.

The corruption is not like a disease that happened. It's an idea. It always exists. It is unstoppable.

Yes that is true but im referencing that the labs so in fact exist and that kind of technology could have existed im not saying my opinion is anywhere near right all im saying is my opinion.

 

Yeah yeah, I get your point

BUT

As I said, and as is stated in the quest "Studying the Corrupt", the Corruption is not a disease, it's an idea. An idea that is unstoppable. Something like that is impossible to create physically. No technology can create a concept like that.

ALSO

Yahya and the others were born HUNDREDS of years after the Corruption began (well technically the Corruption has been here for much longer than before the Portal was found).

Now you'll say that the laboratories were there much before Yahya and the others

 

Now that i take that into consideration that does make 100% since. They were born hundreds of years after the corruption began.

 

Also by that canon Nohno is the evil culprit behind the Corruption war
