Archer/Hunter Help Bomb Spam Build

Sup! I've always thought that the most fun archer spell was bomb arrow, so I made a build around spellspamming it.

It all revolves around the bow, Orange Lily.
Feel free to give suggestions on any of its various parts, but I have two main ones:
1. Does Blind Thrust work here? I know that it gives +1 cost to Bomb Arrow, which sucks, but it gives me the necessary negative tier attack speed as well as a massive buff to earth damage and main attack damage.
2. I'm conflicted about the 2nd ring. I know I want old keeper's, but I'm struggling between Downfall(xtra walk speed, earth damage, main attack damage) vs Ring of Rubies(stealing and loot bonus for greed) vs Moon Pool Circlet(xtra mana regen/int). Which do you think I should choose?

Do you actually need the negative attack tier though? You only have 3/4 mana steal on top of the 14 mana regen you already have, so I feel like it's not very necessary. Moreover, the earth damage buff isn't actually that useful since about 40% of your damage is water, so you're only effectively getting about 35% damage increase rather than 59%. I would suggest you use gaea hewn boots instead, as hive armors are just so much more valuable than accessories if you're using a tri element build.
Now, I don't know how viable using greed actually is (I just started playing again) so I can't comment too much about that, but for sure I don't think you need moon pool, as 14 mr with 1 mana bombs is definitely more than enough.

 

Those Gaea-hewn boots do look very nice, but I'm already using contrast, so I'll have to replace that. Do you have any suggestions? Secondly, your points pretty much do put Moon Pool out of the equation, but do you have an idea of Downfall vs Ring of Rubies?

 

Honestly, I couldn't find any necklaces that synergize too well with EFW so I just splashed royal stormy lol. Since there's nothing really that stands out for the necklace slot though, you could really use anything you want. Regarding the rings though, I really don't know the mechanics of steal/greed too well to comment. From the look of things, can't you just drop emeralds and pick them up again instead of using stealing? Though you probably should use ring of rubies or slot stealing somewhere else into your build if you really want old keeper's (and don't plan to pick up your own dropped emeralds lol) since without stealing mobs emeralds will only drop upon death. Since you're an archer losing the move speed from downfall shouldn't be too bad, though if it makes you really uncomfortable you can swap out vacuum for ornate shadow garb. If you don't have that option, you could try something like dondasch, leviathan or charbydis instead.

 

Thanks for all your feedback! I can't find any good ws necklaces that don't have an agility requirement, so I think I'm going to take Downfall for the walk speed and slot in a necklace(either jackpot or affluence) for the stealing. Thanks a ton!

 

Some things i'd like to add; looks like a good build, and OKR definitely is amazing for archer. For necklace, I personally wouldn't go for a stealing one just because arrow storm already hits so many times that the meager stealing from old keeper's ring is already enough to consistently get stealing procs. I'd personally use either Errant, Charm of the Magma (Cursed choice but it's good hp), Golemlus Core, Ominous Wind (Damage and walkspeed), or any of the Diamond LI rewards that'd fit the build (Probably hydro if you want even more mana).

Also yeah use Gaea hewn boots they're very cool.

 

Thanks! I checked out those necklaces, but the problem is that errant has an agility requirement, charm of the magma takes away from my damage, and golemlus core would require me to have two earth vouchers, as I'm using Elder Oak Roots in the updated build. Ominous wind and diamond hydro necklace are definite possibilities, but do you think that it is smarter to go for one of those over stealing? I'm not planning on using arrow storm as it would upset my flow and require extra mana, so I think it is rather important to up the stealing chance a bit.

Alright, I think I've pretty much landed on the final two versions. Either I'll go:
1. Original build: Uses the Oak Roots, Downfall, and Affluence in the necklace slot. Pros are the pretty much flat ws, +stealing and loot bonus, free skill points, and some extra damage; wynndata.tk/s/7m8jh2
2. Taking Kiocifer's advice, I swapped the Downfall for Ring of Rubies, freeing up enough skill points to pack a whopping 100 int and add in the diamond hydro necklace. +mana regen, +stealing as compared to #1, +much better int; wynndata.tk/s/by85lv
I think I'm leaning towards #1. @Kiocifer, @WynnChairman do you guys have any last comments or opinions before I finish on this build and start up the ol' grind?

 

yea build 2 is a bit redundant, your bombs are already 1 mana so there's no need for the 15 mana regen on top of the extra intelligence as well.
