Quarantine Got Me Like

Came across this while doing the Beneath the Depths quest. Reminded me of the whole quarantine situation corona chan has us in. It really got me thinking about all the things I took for granted like just having the ability to get a haircut or dine at a restaurant and eat nice food.

How are you all holding up in these sad times?

 

Ugh. I feel ya. I need a haircut and I'm bored out of my skull and don't want to
spend money to entertain myself 'cuz my work hours got cut pretty severely, but otherwise I'm all good. The worst part by far is trying to work online (at least I'm fortunate enough to have a job where I can work remotely) and taking classes online which works fine for some, but some are... yeah.

 

I'm in dire need of a haircut too i feel you on that. I dont have online classes atm because of final exams, but i start clasaes again in like 3 weeks

 

Oof. Hope you don't have any labs or hard math classes. Those suck right now.

 

I'm not gonna have any labs, but I do have stats so thats gonna be a big rip to my gpa.

 

I don't think stats is too hard when taken remotely based on my friends who have been in it (as someone who hasn't taken it I'm not exactly qualified to say anything on the matter though), so it may not be as bad as you fear.

 

Hopefully you are right. I heard bad things about it from my friends' upper year friends and it got me a little worried, but we'll see.

 

Most of my friends found it to be a pretty easy class overall when not in quarantine, even the ones who generally have a lot of trouble with math classes. It's apparently a class on reflecting common sense ideas with mathematical expressions.

 

COMMON SENSE?!?!??! Well, I'm screwed.

 

If you have trouble, remember that you almost certainly have access to some form qualified tutors on campus (or remotely now) who can help with it (I tutor, so I'm always gonna advertise tutoring services). I'm not entirely sure how your particular university has handled this, but mine has made an effort to keep tutoring available (which is why I still have a job).
