Ranking The Classes

Alright everybody stand back im gonna do something that has been done over and over again (this is not a reference to anything)

Alrighty so im gonna say this right off the bat if you main the class i ranked as worst, i dont mean to offend you, put down your pitch forks mage mains. I'll also rate the reskins, as in, how much better i think it looks in comparison to the original class.

Ranking The Classes

5 - Mage

Alright so anybody who has talked to me in the class builds or questions section of the Wynn Discord knows my opinion of Mage.... I really dont like Mage. I think it makes the game ridiculously easy on top of not being very fun or challenging. You just spam ice snake or meteor at everything and if for some ridiculous reason you manage to get hit, you can spam heal and you'll be back to 100% in about 3.6 seconds. I get there being an easiest class for newer players, but this class isnt enjoyable in the slightest to me.

4 - Warrior

This class is a LOT more fun to me, as well as being a little bit harder. Warrior is probably the best early game class, but once you start getting to higher levels it starts to become an actual challenge. Being a tank and supporting other players is also pretty fun. It might take a lot less damage, but when Warrior gets hit, at least it cant just do the same spell 3 times and be good as new.

3 - Assassin

Here we are, we're getting to an actually challenging class. Fighting any powerful mob as Assassin is a lot more difficult than any other class. With a very nice damage capability on top of being sneaky, playing this class feels completely different from any other. I can see why some people want Assassin to be buffed so much, but i dont consider it an amazing class.

2 - Shaman

Before anybody goes thinking that im ranking these classes based on how difficult they are, im not. Shaman is both difficult and fun, being able to crowd control and damage so many enemies at the same time, and being able to control massive armies of mobs. That on top of being able to support your allies makes for an amazing class. This is sort of unrelated to how good the class is, but something i really like to do is just spam haul and go flying from side to side around your totem, just hovering above the battlefield. That's pretty fun.

1 - Archer

I feel like this is something a lot of people do. Whatever class they started with they just say that class is the best. Everybody who started as Assassin first probably thinks Assassin is the best, same with every class. But regardless, i think my opinion of Archer is above this rule. High-damage, high-speed, i have never felt like i earned a victory more than with Archer. With Shaman, it can feel kind of unfair to just spam Aura and keep a boss trapped 15 blocks away until they die. That can feel like an unearned victory sometimes. But with Archer, it feels fun, it feels fair, Archer is easily my favorite class. And ive enjoyed it very much these all these 4 years.

Personally, I'd swap mage and warrior over, but the rest I totally agree with!

 

This is ranking how fun they are not balance correct? under that assumption here's my list.
5. Archer: I just am not a fan of the ranged attacking and as an assassin main the left clicking for spell throws me off. I can why others like it but it's just not for me.
4. Warrior: I almost put mage here but decided against it. Warriors fun don't get me wrong but I'm just not a huge fan of a class built entirely around melee. However I am doing HHIC/HICH with warrior.
3. Mage: Feels very spammy and a little too easy. Most of my opinions on mage are similar to Torpid's but I don't mind it as much.
2. Shaman: I love shaman, however is it balanced, no. I haven't gotten far with shaman however so I don't think I can put it number one.
1. Assassin: this is 100% bias. I'm an assassin main, it was the first class I played, and no class has gotten my attention more than assassin.

I am not really qualified to give a proper list on the classes because I have only reached endgame with one. However if I get bored with archer after 5 minutes, I am not going to suffer through 100 levels of that.

 

The poll seems to be basing it off of which class is best in terms of ability, but the list itself looks to based off how fun the class is rather than how good it is. The descriptions are also confusing, mentioning fun and general ability. I feel you need to focus on one aspect (Fun factor or General ability) and stick with it through the entire ranking instead of some sort of hybrid.

 

Clarification: I was mainly ranking these classes on how fun they are to play, not really their damage capability or anything else.

hmmm reskin ranking...

Knight = Glitters!
Dark Wizard (Arch Wizard better) = kinda unnoticeable except snake. meteor got that red line that is miniscule and heal changes... nothing.
Ninja = (never tried it cause made 2 assassins before getting VIP+)
Hunter = more glitters... and are arrows = hooks now?
Skyseer = ah yes more of the glitters... Totem looks nice though.

mage best mage best because EXPLOOSION and magics.

 

warrior isn't fun because it's so weak (no functional combos as well, imagine if bash spiked so you could upperbash loop)

Bash does spike. But it also pushes mobs super far away if you mess up at all, and doesn't do anything to slow mobs or such, so it becomes challenging to follow up on.

Ah yes, the peanut. Totally OP, please nerf movement speed when not looking at it

 

Ice Bear says honestly what where the devs thinking when they made [DATA EXPUNGED] you can’t add that much mobility and damage without making it OP. Personally Ice Bear thinks [DATA EXPUNGED] should be reworked if not removed entirely from the game.

 

Here we go. Get ready for big Shaman hate, everyone!

5. Shaman
I'm not going to make a big rant, like I usually do, just the main things:
- Too high damage
- Can 100% trap melee bosses
- Glass cannon THAT CAN HEAL ITSELF UNLIKE ARCHER
- Not fun to play, because it's so OP

4. Warrior
I haven't really played it at all, but people put it around here, so I'll do that too.

3. Mage
Overrall a pretty fun utility class, but even though the spells are all different and don't have a general theme, the combat is kind of repetitive, and with Heal, you don't need potions at all. Mage is kind of a starter class.

2. Archer
Like Warrior, I haven't really played Archer above level 11, so I know little of it, but it seems to be a really fun class. I used to hate it like Shaman until they nerfed it in 1.19 (thank you)

1. Assassin
It's my main I started with, so that probably affects a lot, but it is an extremely fun class to play. Imagine like, Archer, but melee so all battles feel epic and fair. The spell combo potential is really big, and Vanish is super fun to use, while not being too OP. Assassin doesn't need buffs or nerfs, it's completely balanced.

For some reason, I don't feel like the Hunter redesings are that great. They're like, alright.

Why does the worst class have the best redesign? I have no idea.

 

Archer isnt really a glass cannon, it doesnt take a huge amount of damage and just arrow shield + decent defense will almost always keep you alive

It isn't? So what is it then? A cannon?

ok from this point forward i will call the archer playstyle as just "Cannon"
