Recover The Past (quest Bug?)

I am in the middle of completing the quest titled: "Recover The Past", a quest involving bringing test subjects to a wizard so he can view their past. When bringing the 3rd test subject, i walked into the room, which teleported me to a different area like it is supposed to, however I accidentally left the area, and I can't get back. Tried leaving and rejoining, as well as trying to go find the test subject again, neither of which worked. I would appreciate any insight on this.

I'd recommend attempting the speak to the next man in the list, wiki search "Recover the Past" and try on the next guy, see if you advance, if not try /class around the location /lobby, if neither work /kill and see if it resets it. If nothing works pray a lot, then you may want to contact a staff member, they might be able to help you... If not you just can't finish the quest on this class.

Sometimes you can brute force it, but don't lose items over it! waiting is a safe bet

 

I tried /kill and now the 3rd NPC doesnt exist, the quest giver's dialogue is to grab people and the quest log says to get the 3rd guy

 

This is a known issue, as stated in earlier replies. Going to the next person in the list won't resolve it (additionally, Edwin is the last person)
It's fixed for the next patch or major update.
