This cavern opens up a bit more, with three more giant rats, as well as a rat swarm who's flesh seems to have all melted off.

In the corner there is a small pile of gems.

 

"Right. I might check on that later. But seeing as word already got around, things should be dealt with."

 

"Seems like it. Say, all your friend seem to have got up and went. What about you? Got somewhere to be?"

 

I run up next to Kyleas and cast a Guiding Bolt at the red giant rat.

Spell attack: 11 + 8 = 19
Damage: 2 + 6 + 3 + 5 = 16 radiant damage, plus it's now glowing, giving advantage to the next attack against it.

 

"I'm gathering information that might be of use to us, as well as getting some items made that could be of use. Meanwhile, I'm also trying to clean our name a bit, but I haven't found a good way to do so yet."

 

"Get some items made?"

Wow, ok. Good damage. Still alive but significantly hurt.

Heat is up

 

Heat dashes and positions himself at a bottleneck further into the cave, next to the giant purple rat. This is to prevent as many rats from approaching the party as possible.
An inky black anchor slowly manifests, as if materializing from a portal in thin air above Heat as he lumbers beside the rat. It descends and crashes into the rat violently, and though anticlimactic, does not harm the rat but remains to hold the enlarged rodent in place.

End turn.

 

The glowing (red) rat advances on Erevan, leaping and scratching at him. However, Erevan easily deflects the rat with his shield(?).

The (purple) rat covered in inky ichor attempts to bite at Heat. Though restrained by the bonds of darkness, the rat just barely manages to sink it's teeth in between Heat's armored plating. 9 piercing damage.

The last (blue) rat moves and leaps up at Althaios. It fails to get high enough in the air and misses.

Skeletal rats move to attack Heat and miss slightly

I nimbly hop down and run over to help out Erevan, laying a few slaps into this rat.

Att1: 10 + 7 = 17
Att2: 18 + 7 = 25
Att3: 8 + 7 = 15

Damage 1: 3 + 4 = 7
Damage 2: 2 + 4 = 6
Damage 3: 2 + 4 = 6

If all three hit, then 19 damage.
End turn.

Uhhh soooooo I screwed up and that rat should have been already dead

"Of course. Well then, I'll finish my drink and then I think I'll be visiting the jeweler. See what's happening there."

And I'll do just that. Finish my drink, pay if I hadn't already, and head out to the jeweler.

 

I use Step of the Wind to Bonus Action Dash over to the other rat, then wail on it, hopefully being able to use the attacks from my botched turn.

 

Do you mean the Jeweler shop or person? Because the person's in the Inn

If I had noticed the person was in the inn, I would probably go talk to them. Otherwise, I'm heading out hoping for the best.
