    Hello all,

I'm pondering whether or not to apply to the content team.

I was wondering what the expectations are for builders?

    Thanks.

As long as you're somewhat mature in the head and are capable of working with other people, you'll fit right into the team. Build wise, if you think you could take on a request to build something of Wynn's quality and numerous styles, that more often than not seems to be enough. Aka, if you can look at a build ingame and think to yourself "Yeah, I could do that", you're in. As for how much you'd need to work as a builder, there aren't really strict limits. You could pop in once a week to do something and be just fine. Need a couple months of break? Sure thing, as long as you inform someone about it. At that point you might want to ask yourself why you're in the team to begin with, though.

But most importantly, remember that you don't lose anything for applying, so even a lack of self faith shouldn't be a deterrent from doing so. You can always apply again if you fail.

Do note, that this is only based on my personal experience

    Hi, ex-builder here.

The Content Team doesn't require insane commitment, but you're still expected to contribute regularly. If you need to focus on real life commitments or examinations, you're allowed to as long as you inform the manager beforehand.

You don't have to excel in all aspects of building to apply, you can still state your own strengths in a particular area and be able to work on the map, and continually improve from there. To reiterate what Aarontti said, a good judgment of whether you are able to fit in is to look at Wynn's style (such as those at Ragni, Detlas, Troms) and see if you can build following the style without directly copying.

    Good luck!

As as you can build something Grian would call "good, " or something that is detailed without too much, and you know the basics terraforming, you should qualify to be a builder. Knowing Worldedit and Voxelsniper.
