Wonder Whut This Could Be For ?

I was just running around looking for easy ways of XP and saw this so I sat outside the window and waited till the moon was directly above me since it says "When you let darkness into the sky, this door shall open" so it seems obvious that at night the door will open but it never opened (._.) So I'm just guessing it for a later quest but I must know!

The location is Aldori Town and it is in the cellar were you have to get into it through the window

 

This is a clue for the quest "Aldorei's Secret Part I".

 

Idk how that would since you have to place the sunflower seeds in the yellow carpet during the day but this says at night the door opens so it just confuses me :P

 

You're putting a SUN flower seed into the darkness. It's elf logic. Don't question too much.

 

I was asking whut the door could be for not what Elf logic is for putting a sunflower seed into the carpet I wasn't wondering about the quest I was wondering what the door might be for since at night it didn't open
