Armor For Starting Out

Could anyone tell me what armor you use for starting off? like from level 1-50. For me 1-10 I use 2 rarities, heli, blessed wrappings, audacity, darkiron scrap, and wither's tailsman.

 

It really depends on what you're going for early game. Each armor piece has different stats based on elemental defense and health and maybe some others like speed. But for early game, I'd just recommend searching for armor close to your level and making sure it has good HP and defenses. There really is no "set armor" for early game, it's flexible.

level 25 switch to laen's curiosity and durum's serenity
level 29 switch to detlas' skin
level 30 switch to adigard's snowshoes
level 38 switch to chained pixels
level 39 switch to faded
level 45 switch to constrict collar
level 44 switch to seven league boots
level 48 switch to durum's journey

 

TIL there's a meta for lvl <50 classes.

 

I pick up whatever’s both highest in rarity and has the most hp/elemental damage/xp boost tbh

 

I'd really suggest getting morph pieces as you level up- it's the cheapest and easiest way to boost your power while also giving great xp/loot bonus on the side. That being said, there's quite a few other noteworthy options; of these, I'd suggest Adventurer's Set, The entire drop pool from Prison of souls (Seriously, the stuff there is stupid OP), Avalanche (From Fate of the Fallen, probably the strongest early/midgame helmet there is- can be used until like 70), Hashr Claw (if assassin), Deadeye (if archer), Sage (if mage), Stress/Puppet Master (If Shaman), uuuh Karma's good for Warrior too I guess.

But honestly, there's no need for a really fancy build, just pick up whatever you can find, it's not like the mid/early game is super challenging. What Vyzr is suggesting is a set to maximize XP bonus at any given level, but really, there's no reason to minmax unless you plan to try and beat a world record for level speedrunning.

 

Therck set is basically god mode until level 30.

 

is it not better to get an xp set because it is not so relevant to have good armor in early stage?
