Art Greener Sands (comic)

Hi! My name is Owl, and I joined the Wynncraft forums when I was 14 years old! I used to work religiously on this comic's story and characters, and completely fell out of it and moved on to more personal projects after my computer broke.
I'm 20 years old now, and my artwork is a lot more... gooder....
I found the time to start playing Wynncraft again with an old friend after the quarantine began and remembered that I tried to do all of this stuff. This thread may not quite be the launch of this comic series (it's very ambitious and I have work to do already), but it is a love letter to my past, and I'm willing to discuss everything about it.



Greener Sands is a comic series about about a citizen of Nemract who's been kidnapped by a mysterious warrior and forced to be their healer throughout their journey. And there's time travel!



Marus doesn't speak, and is a very forceful individual. They have a one-track mind and a long, long history behind them.



Larson is a young adult from Nemract who was kidnapped directly from the Bovine church. The only keepsake that he has to his name is the family heirloom he was wearing the day he was taken: an hourglass necklace.

This would have been a really long comic series, and there's no way I could do it even now. I'm going to college and majoring in 2D animation (so you know I'm booked), all while nurturing another major personal project.

I've missed forum life and I'd like to hang around during quarantine, or at least until I'm too busy to stick around again. So this is my art thread! I'll be posting more drawings in it throughout my stay.

I had a few other main-ish characters who I don't even remember the name of...

Not the most accurate recreations either! I need to find that one sketchbook. This was back when there were only 4 classes, so I had a character for each. I think if I tried to start the comic series, I'd keep it that way.

Greener Sands is a tragedy about time travel. I have a nice little google doc I put together for it riiiight here!
It's not the best story I've come up with, but it was pretty solid at the time and for a 14/15 year old.
