I Accidentally Got Emeralds From A Glitch. Do I Have To Throw The Emeralds Away?

I am a level 44 mage. I was trying to buy a wand from the trade market for 471 or so emeralds. Well, it couldn't buy it so it made a buy request which for some reason i couldn't cancel. About 1 hour of playing later I get a message in chat "Failed to buy "Unidentified Glare" because the trade was already completed. Your emeralds can be found in the trade menu." multiple times. Then I go to the trade menu to collect it but it doesn't go away. So I collect 'till it goes away. I collected 1.5 LE when I was supposed to collect 7 emerald blocks. Is this glitch known? What should I do with the emeralds?

Edit: This happened again while I was trying to buy other items and gave me more emeralds. I will no longer try to buy anything.

Note: I have Wynntils and Optifine but it also happens without mods on.

 

Report the issue in bug reports and get rid of the extra emeralds. If you have video evidence, then show it, but if not, don't attempt to recreate the glitch again.

 

I logged off for 2 hours, tried to buy something. But now it works. I have gotten rid of the extra emeralds.
